A hijacking took place on a regional train in Yverdon-les-Bains, western Switzerland last night. Fourteen passengers and the machinist were taken hostage by a 32 y/o Iranian refugee armed with a knife and axe.
Police got an interpreter to negotiate over Whatsapp. After a successful distraction with explosives the doctor/engineer/dentist attacked an officer with his axe and was awarded a state funded funeral.
No hostage was hurt.
The motive is "unclear".

With final confirmation still outstanding, German media reports indicate that the last fugitive members of the left-wing Red Army Faction terrorist organisation (also known as Baader–Meinhof Gang) were arrested in Berlin today. The trio – two men and a woman in their mid-sixties – stand accused of being involved in nine murders and other crimes committed since the 1980s. They had been on the run since 1998. A former investigator of the case has told tabloid 'Bild' that they must have received help and support from the city's left wing scene. (Source)

Reportedly 4 gunman entered a city hall and started shooting at anything that moved.
The city hall also houses a concert hall which was supposed to host a concert, a significant crowd was gathered.
Police forces, FSB and Rosvgardia are reportedly on scene.
The body count is uncertain at the moment, but 140+ (and rising) are reported dead, with many more wounded.
At some point the attackers reportedly made use of either incendiary or explosive devices, setting fire to part of the complex and engulfing the roof in flames.
