If I've said it once I've said it a thousand times … we need to fricking find a way to deal with dangerous people who're just not acutely dangerous enough in the eyes of the law to justify incarceration. I don't care what flavour of douchebag they are – islamists, schizophrenics, school shooters-to-be, stalkers –, a way must be found. Why should the many always suffer to protect the freedoms of people who're willingly a menace to society?
Playing devil's advocate here -
Many people on various web forums/tv news comment section claim he was :-
(a) he was on a watch list
(b) known to police etc.. etc..
(c) seen his many postings over the years where he was threatening to do something.
(d) looks to be a psycho/nutter that should have been enough to arrest him.
(e) has to be a democrat.
O.K. lets see can this lead somewhere -
(a) do they think somebody is sitting 24/7 watching his online posts or tailing him to see if he steps out of line (doubtful under Loony Lorri Lightfoot as she claims there is no violent gun crime in Chicago.)
(b) I am sure there are many people known to the police, but unless they have been convicted of some crime what can the police do in this regard, very little, if he is not in the act of committing a crime.
(c) then why did they not report such to the police/homeland security instead of waiting for somebody else to do it.
(d) by using such criteria loony Lorri the Mayor would have been well eligible for locking up, so many "people" have a right to their looks, genders, etc.. etc.. that the mentally ill are the new normal especially in the new "WOKE" society's.
(e) seems to be based on him pictured wearing a red baseball cap but as its on backwards we dont know if it is a MAGA cap, oh and he went to some democratic event dressed as "Wally/Waldo/Whatever but was he there as a protester or supporter?
