But the real issue at hand is: How many veterans of the Franco-Prussian war cast their vote? 🙃

You'll never guess which nationality tops the registered gang rapes chart in Germany ... by a very, very wide margin
Some of them rape men as well.
It should not be surprising, though, as it's their tradition:

The political life in Germany is a happy one. The Greens have said they will not vote for the big budget easing, which requires a two-thirds majority, because it gives the new government a "treasure chest" to hand out whatever it likes, such as farm subsidies. Well yes, in German agriculture, when they see a green politician, they immediately start to straighten the scythe.
The funny thing is that if we go back to October 2024, we will find a major paper by Robert Habeck, the Green Party's economy minister, where he goes on at length to say: "Therefore, the debt brake in its current form is an investment and growth brake."
In other words, the debt ceiling is an innovation and growth ceiling.
In other words, the Greens know exactly that this is what is needed, they are just blackmailing from outside the government to get their voter base to hand out a bit of the same. Realpolitik at its best, which means spineless, disgusting and inefficient.
For those who want to read fourteen pages on how to package handouts to make them look very environmentally conscious, here is the complete material:

U could argue the same way that the conservative CDU knew very well back then in October and way before that the debt brake needs to be reformed if not removed. Yet they blocked every try to get it done, even in the days prior to the election just to make a u-turn right after the election. Of course, the circumstances have changed with the current US stance but imho there were and are many other issues which made a debt brake reform necessary and i think Merz and the CDU knew and know that very well.

I can understand why the Greens are pissed, I appreciate their politics to a certain point and know why they want some more detailed specifications on the 500bn infrastructure part. I appreciate that they seem to be ok with the 100bn defense spending part of the CDU/SPD reform plans but at the same time I can't stand them for pulling this "CDU stunt" and blocking the reform plans since time matters here somehow.

Which disasterous agreements specifically?
It's in the text:
Fighter jet purchase: Secret clauses are said to give the USA special rights. The USA can refuse delivery without compensation. But the contract has its pitfalls, as "Stern" now reports. The magazine has the contract documents, according to a report. One of the clauses: "The US government reserves the right, in the event of unusual and compelling circumstances, if the national interest of the USA so requires, to terminate or suspend the provision of services in whole or in part at any time." In the event of a crisis, US President Trump could therefore stop the delivery of the jets. And even if the fighter jets are finally in the hands of German pilots, the USA can cancel a launch. The Foreign Assistance Act allows the US to "monitor the end-use" of the F-35, namely "all" uses, as the agreement states, according to Stern.
