On May 13 five people were stabbed on a train in Germany by a "mentally unstable" Iraqi who was previously investigated for terrorist activity. Terrorism was ruled out almost before the last victim hit the ground. Anyone saying otherwise is a xenophobe.

In this case it actually seems to be true. Local news reports say that fine gentleman has a medical history of running head-first into cars. Literally. Sometimes I can't help but wonder why it is so goddamn difficult in Western countries to commit someone to a mental asylum against their will. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to return to a day and age when it was practically customary to have your rich aunt institutionalised because the old hag just wouldn't die and make you a rich man … but still. This is absurd.

I just think that the random loony that stabs or shoot a bunch of people regardless of his ideology is brain dead or is an actual mentally ill indeed.

Which doesn’t mean that real psycho also actually don’t exist, and don’t have a history of mental issues behind them. Cold blooded murderer, or serial killers have been well documented.

Ultimately there’s this saying that a psychiatrist like a dentist will always “find something” to one of his patient.
