This is bs campaign that PiS uses for parliamentary elections next year. I don't think that anyone sane actually wants any money from Germany, it's been almost 80 years. Opposition is calling their bluff on this and no one except for 3 MP's voted against this. Why vote for this? Well if PiS fails on delivering their promises of reparations from Germoney then it shows their weakness, if they'll deliver it than you don't want to be the guy voting against it.

The reality is PiS is bleeding our budget dry and it needs to do whatever it can to divert attention from it. For years we were told that "temporarily" increase of VAT from 22% to 23% will be rolled back by PiS government. What happened now? They passed a bill that will not allow VAT to be reduced when budget spending on defense is over 3%. How they keep it above 2 or even 3%? Count advances toward future purchases as an actual spending. That way you will not see the actual hardware for YEARS but they'll already count some of the money as spent on defense. Meanwhile our inflation rate is one of the highest in EU, prices for electricity are going up, same with natural gas, heat, etc. Whatever increase in wages we see is immediately eaten away by inflation. Meanwhile smaller towns are organizing social spaces where people can come in to get warm because some of them will not be able to afford to heat their houses. This is in a country which is one the biggest producers of coal in Europe.

Thanks for the insights.

“Russia is terrorising us so that we will back away from our decisions,” she said, referring to Putin’s threats of nuclear war.

“When it comes to Putin then, of course he is a war criminal and must be prosecuted for the crimes of aggression he has committed,” she said in the immaculate gardens of Prague Castle during a break in the talks.

“And you shouldn't be negotiating with terrorists because it pays off for them. We will pay a higher price in the long term.”

Ms Kallas had criticised France and Germany for pressing for an early peace deal earlier in the conflict.

She admits she is still “worried” that Ukraine could be pushed into “some premature peace that they are not really ready to go into” by Western allies.

The West had a “very different understanding” of what peace can mean to the former Iron Curtain countries, she said.

“For half of Europe, the end of the Second World War meant peace, meant prosperity,” she said, “On the other side of Europe, peace meant atrocities, torture and mass deportations.”...

The EPI Chips work since 2021. At least we can develop and produce them in contrast to the bombastic annunciations by the other suspects.

Which need machines from Europe , read up on ASML.

This chip ist for supercomputers only, not a commercial chip.

Leave the commercial production to Intel, TSMC, Infineon etc.

Poland may not receive up to €75 billion in financial assistance from the EU due to the escalation of the dispute between Warsaw and Brussels.

On Saturday, the government's new advertisement "exploded", illustrating the Brussels sanctions with a bomb for effect. Although the campaign debuted on the Hungarian government's official Facebook page, it didn't take long for the tasteful posters to hit the streets.

So while hundreds of people are currently dying in bomb attacks in neighbouring Ukraine, Hungarian passers-by are reminded that the "Brussels sanctions" - which the government voted for without exception - are "destroying us".
