We've been volunteering in our off duty hours @ the vaccination centers & our immigration centers with the hope of getting ahead of Covid infections racing thru Europe. An extra $5 in my pay would be real nice but @ this point I'm happy to give vaccine shots to the masses & not being shot @ or driving over IEDs. I guess it's all relative, I'm healthy, my entire family is healthy with a roof over our heads & plenty of good food on our table. A lot of folks these days can't say that. From what I'm seeing & hearing around the world, this isn't over yet, some real nasty variants are loose, everyone needs to get vaccinated & plan on a booster around the end of the year. Mask wearing? Wearing one for now but the science is sounding more iffy every day. Some advice, stay positive, enjoy the simple life's pleasures when you can & look out for each other & maybe bring a few cookies to the folks at the vaccination centers, we work cheap & don't always get a break for some dinner.

I live in Hungary. This is a misrepresentation of government propaganda. The Chinese vaccine has only been used for a few weeks, to vaccinate the young and healthy. Pfizer was given to the old, the chronically ill. This is a deliberate propaganda for success. They really messed it up, about the world's leading mortality rate. Plus they get the Chinese vaccine at multiple times the price and the money disappears into the Orban family pockets.

In addition, a Russian table was copied almost identically... and then the Russians published the Hungarian table.

Basically Brazil will not use the Sputnik V vaccine for the same reasons the Slovaks have also cast it aside for now: too much difference between the doses given and too much contradictory information. In the situation that Brazil is, that decision is clearly a shocker even down there.

There are so many (forgotten) people working in the shadows to solve this issue. I will ask my kids if they want to make some cookies with Mom and me to bring over to the Vaccination and Test Center. That's a very nice idea, I'm ashamed I haven't thought about it myself.

When I set up a pop up advertized vac center in my local village folks brought pies & a huge sterling silver tray full smoked country ham biscuits. When I asked where she lived so I could drop the tray off on the way home that night she laughed & said I know where you live. She's been dropping off food after deployments for years. There are some good cooks in my little village that I've met plowing driveways every winter.
