Hillary had a hunger for power, she wanted to do something with it. And she had lots of people backing her, therefore lots of interests just like many had interests in her.

Biden on the other hand, no. He ended up being the "by default" choice.
Corrupt? Yes, but probably not less or more than any other.
Left wing? Meh... not sure. The only left wing, genuinely left wing, is Bernie. All the others used left leaning policies as PR stunts because it is hype. Just like Hillary went with the identity politics.
Incompetent? Oh yes, absolutely. Which is made worse by his dementia (if it is, indeed, dementia).
