This meme pretty much nails it. I know how the MSM works over there since I can read or even watch them on a daily basis, like anyone with access to internet or cable.

Something you guys on the other side of the pond maybe don’t know is how European MSM (Obvious BBC aside) are unanimous and how they narrate us that Joe Biden is arousing crowd in stadiums and rallies in America. Like it’s all Obama 2008 again. People actually buy this? It’s insane. What matters most is credible information, what Trump has achieved during his ongoing first tenure and so forth, but nope. MSM from both side of the Atlantic have found their champion, an aging white guy because he’s not a Communist or a former jewish mayor of NY billionaire.

Cuomo would be an interesting candidate but, though I doubt this will happen, if it did happen it would beg the question: why even bother with the whole primaries process?

All the debates, all the caucuses, all the polls, the fund raisings and such... what's the point? What's the point of all that if, in the end, basically anybody can be catapulted to the top?

Well, not sure about that "insider" thing. Trump had lots of "insiders" who went on claiming various things about him, leading to books being published and the such.

Insiders/anonymous sources/random official/staff member/etc... vague terms used to create a source.

That being said, considering Biden's recent TV appearances... yeah, he does not look well.

Feel the Bern! No doubt he tried and as much as I despise his political stance, he believed in it. Biden is gonna get TrumpHammered.

Some neighbors of mine with Bernie signs on their lawns or Prius bumpers are going to be very disappointed. I actually saw an H3 Hummer parked at a trailhead yesterday which had a Bernie sticker on it!

I wonder why he dropped though.

A lackluster primary showing and the Covid-19 pandemic are a bad deal, but do they really rule out any hope of victory?
That being said, the way Trump is dealing with the pandemic will probably boost his popularity, it would probably be hard to compete.

But, he has to know this is probably over for good, considering his age I doubt there will be a next time in 2024.

Or could it be a strategic move? I am having lots of doubts regarding Biden's actual mental fitness, so Trump wins and "better luck next time"?

In the case of Hillary, would that engender conditions of civil war?

Civil war, I doubt it. But the political outcry would be deafening.

And that's not even considering the political consequences for future elections: it would set a precedent for pushing a candidate to the end of the race without bothering with all various processes.
What would happen to the primaries? What would be the prerequisite for somebody to be catapulted there?
