Imagine being this naive.

* Completely screwed his Iran policy by tearing apart an effective nuclear agreement and nearly started a war. Now Iran is enriching uranium up to levels (20 %) not seen in the post-JCPOA era, while the overall security in the Middle East has significantly deteriorated.

* North Korea which has increased its nuclear stockpile under the Trump administration and continues to defy efforts to de-nuclearize.

* Formulated a failed transactional foreign policy which pushed off traditional US allies while praising all kinds of dictators around the world.

You won't find any diplomatic success other than normalizing agreements between Israel and a bunch of tiny states in the ME, which already had covert relations with each other before these agreements popped up.
Trump didnt start a single war. Fact! Unlike Bush and Obama...

I liked the part with "while the overall security in the Middle East has significantly deteriorated"

Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Libya never happened.

I have one question though, sorry if it was already answered.

Why was it so easy for the crowds to break into the building? Usually such stand offs last hours, or even days. They got in within minutes.
Authorities knew a large protest was on the way.

They are not there to machine gun down the population - some damage was done - they had photos of everyone - if you look they have picked up 68 of the protesters today
There is a fine line between democratic protest and how it is dealt with in a democracy - some people sadly lost their lives - but nowhere near how many would have been lost if this had been tried in other countries
They will learn lessons but the end of the day you cannot shoot everyone - well not in America

I haven't said anything about shooting. I was asking why the crowd managed to break in so easily. As though there was no resistance at all.

Some conspiracy theories are brewing on that one...... Personally, I'd need more info!

Hello dingus.

What did you call me? “Naive”

I read that you’ve left a couple points and paragraphs, for me to reply, that’s kind of you.

Completely screwed his Iran policy by tearing apart an effective nuclear agreement and nearly started a war. Now Iran is enriching uranium up to levels (20 %) not seen in the post-JCPOA era, while the overall security in the Middle East has significantly deteriorated.

Nearly started a war but still didn’t start one, as he hasn’t even started any new since he got in the Oval Office.

He did get rid of a certain Iranian General though (terrorist) and the best Iran could do was to throw some rockets towards US bases in the region.

North Korea which has increased its nuclear stockpile under the Trump administration and continues to defy efforts to de-nuclearize.

Yawn. The old and almighty North Korea, I know that you Iran fan boys along with other Middle Eastern people actually fantasize about the US going into full blown war against the Norks. Did you read the news or were you sleeping when Kim Jung Un and Donald Trump actually meet up? But since Trump and I actually are “naive” he doesn’t have minimal knowledge of the sneakiness of this regime and what they do behind the scenes.

Either way. A single Nuclear Bomb hits Seoul or Seattle and The People Republics of Korea is flattened and history.

Formulated a failed transactional foreign policy which pushed off traditional US allies while praising all kinds of dictators around the world.

Dictators as Duterte, Putin, Orban, Bolsonaro or am I missing something? While “strong leaders”, those have their fair share of supporters in their own countries. I’ll grant you that the relationship between Europe (The EU) and Trump only deteriorated into his tenure.

Semi-agree those were already for the most part in place.

Not starting the big infrastructure re-build due to democrat self indulgence was the biggest missed opportunity.

The Isreal embassy assessed at 1 billion instead a refurbished one for less than half a million. Quibble over future costs in whatever of those fact checks but obviously one cannot ever underestimate the blank cheque piggery that was stopped.
Pity this solution wasn't applied to make America great again on home turf. Now they have Pelosi Biden Squad Shumer Bernie clown show admin to carry out a supposedly wartime green new deal along with mending the further deteriorated infrastructure.
The trains won't run on time.

So...according to this, the deployment of the National Guard, that was crucial in restoring order and peace, was not ordered by Donald Trump but by VP Pence

It was stolen, mainly on the basis of the ad hoc extension of time accepting votes. Whatever goes man....
Must use that Pennsylvania legal excuse for late taxes, speeding, oops ran over a pedestrian. Not being on time and tardy is fine dear. Unintelligible documents filed can be cured.

Best I can piece together after action is the East side of the Capitol was lightly guarded & when the peaceful protesters reached the single line of portable barricades the Guards backtracked. Then it was a matter of breaking a single pane of glass in a ground floor window to gain access to unlock a door for their buddies to enter en-mass. Or alternate answer, the Viking guy scared the bejesus out of the Capitol Police & they just ran away. I have to assume someone in a Command position put out the word early on [& this will sound racist] "hey, they're just white folks, try not to shoot too many". Personally, while a large group of protesters making it inside the seat of US power is kinda surprising to the rest of the world & while it looks bad, for that many pissed off folks to have done so little actual damage.....no fires, no pooping on Pelosi's desk, just a few files dumped, trash strowed around & fire extinguishers sprayed......could have been a lot worse. The AF vet lady shot looks like a bad shoot, more to come there I'm sure.
