The alleged neo-Nazi man accused of ramming a rented U-Haul truck into White House security barriers will be held in federal jail until next week.

All these horrific events are used very fast by all sorts of disingeneous people.

For the extreme right, the problem is that it seems he might be a Christian. All other elements are good for them: a refugee (a weird one with then years spent in Sweden with a wife, a job...)

For the left, pushing the "christian" side of the agenda alleviates the "poor migrant needs to be rescued" mantra. Furthermore, they are not helped by the fact that young guy who fought back is a young devout Christian who was touring cathedrals after finishing university.

In all, we have real scumbag with evidently a copious amount of insanity doing an abominable thing that will leave traces for all the kids lives should all of them, as I hope, make it. That is what everything should be focused on. It does not matter where the guy came from, it does not matter what faith he had, it does not matter the origns of the guy who defended the kids. We had a display of the best and the worst in people.

A man was arrested today in Peine, Germany, after shooting randomly at people with a crossbow at the city's train station. One 22-year-old passer-by was injured and had to be treated in hospital. Police are now investigating a possible right-wing extremist background of the shooter. The latter is also known for previous mental issues.
