Network of companies influenced election in Romania.

And here again totally peaceful and not sinister Russia interference.

Just take a look at the whole state of Putlers empire and tell me with a straight face they are honest.

They are weak only chance is to destabilize with tricks.

Its very reasonable to not trust Russia.

Its unreasonable to give them benefit of the doubt.

The secret Russian network must be actively uncovered, persecuted and destroyed.

As

The Romanian tax authority ANAF has determined that the campaign on TikTok for Kelin Georgescu was not funded by Russians but by the pro-European National Liberal Party of Romania.

The tax authority found that Georgescu's social media campaign was funded by the PNL (National Liberals), with the goal of drawing voters away from their rivals, the Social Democrats.

Reasonable to not trust Russia: yes.
Reasonable to not trust people who cry wolf: yes.
Reasonable to not trust blindly: yes.

But you should also take a look at things such as "patterns". Blaming Russia for electoral results that don't go one's way, or social unrest, or social mistrust in the authorities, has been done a good number of time already.
Trump 2016? Macron first term (when he accused Russia of having hacked into his mails, only for the DGSI to admit, post elections, that no, it didn't happen)? The Yellow Jackets? COVID? Farmers' protesting? Truckers' protesting in Canada? Anti-immigration protests in England? Etc...
In other words; using an easy scapegoat to cover for one's shortcomings.

That is not saying Russia hasn't done and isn't doing shady stuff. But, you know, something something keep on crying wolf something something.

Otherwise all you are doing is pure confirmation bias.

So, in the end, the only thing this little stunt managed to achieve is damaging the legitimacy of the election process.
Well, that and having the usual suspects look like fools.

This is a good resume.

My point still stands activating 800 bots dormant since 2016 is a massive coincidence.

Like always a hodge podge of reasons the sleepy usual politicians did not see.

But if you read the article above you get a clue who Georgescu is.

Social media are full of bots left dormant "until it is time".

Any "crisis" will trigger them.

We're just testing wireless energy transfer.

Maybe we need some undersea anchor trap.

Finnish sources state that one helicopter of army, carrying the bear group, and another copter carrying the border guard readiness unit, took off, boarded the ship and took control.

The charge is aggravated vandalism, with sentences up to ten years. More if deemed terrorist act. The captain must be thinking was it worth it...

Estlink cable disruption: Finnish Border Guard detains tanker linked to Russia's 'dark fleet'

An oil tanker that was in the area when the Finland-Estonia electrical link was disrupted on Wednesday has been boarded by the Finnish Border Guard and escorted into Finnish territorial waters.

According to global ship tracking website MarineTraffic, the vessel in question, the Eagle S, flying the Cook Islands flag, noticeably slowed down while passing over the cable around the time the transmission was disrupted.

The Finnish Border Guard's patrol vessel Turva escorted the tanker to waters some 20km off Porkkalaniemi, a peninsula on the Gulf of Finland, on Wednesday evening. The ship is now anchored in Finnish territorial waters and a three-kilometre no-fly zone has been imposed in the area.

According to the Finnish Border Guard, the anchors on the Eagle S vessel were not in place, raising suspicions among authorities. Officials said that based on the preliminary investigation, there is reason to believe the vessel's anchor caused the damage.

In a press conference on Thursday afternoon, Prime Minister Petteri Orpo said that Finland will respond decisively to any suspected interference with its undersea infrastructure.

Authorities have also reported disruptions in a total of four telecommunications cables connecting Finland in the Baltic Sea.
Vessel linked to Russia's 'dark fleet'

The oil tanker was, according to MarineTraffic, on its way from St Petersburg to Egypt.

According to the British publication Lloyd's List, the Eagle S tanker is part of Russia's oil-carrying 'dark fleet', also known as 'shadow fleet'.

The publication defines "dark fleet" tanker as a vessel older than 15 years whose true owner is unknown, and whose sole purpose is to transport oil from sanctioned countries. These ships are involved in deceptive maritime practices defined by the US government, and typically lack proper insurance. They are often very old vessels that are poorly maintained, making them major environmental risks as well.

Lloyd's List reported that the tanker belongs to Caravella, a company based in the United Arab Emirates, and is the only vessel in the company's fleet. In July, the British publication reported that the Eagle S, a ship about 20 years old and in poor condition, posed a security and environmental risk.

The Estlink 2 electricity connection between Finland and Estonia was disrupted shortly after noon on Christmas Day.

According to Arto Pahkin, manager of Fingrid's Main Grid Control Centre, the damaged area is located in the Finnish side of the subsea cable between the two countries, making Fingrid responsible for the repair. Pahkin estimated that repairs could take up to seven months.

Aggravated sabotage

Police are working with the Border Guard and other authorities to investigate the sequence of events leading to the incident. Police said it is now investigating the incident as a case of aggravated vandalism.

Fingrid's manager Pahkin told Yle on Wednesday that the possibility of terrorism or vandalism cannot be ruled out. According to Pahkin, two vessels were near the marine cable at the time the connection was severed.

If the AfD gets high numbers, will the elections be cancelled a well?
No need, it's not Winner-takes-all. Marginalising parts of the population that are too dumb/ignorant/racist/misogynist/deplorable to vote for the "right" parties is what cordon sanitaires are for.

Of course. They are ruzzian assets after all

Russian bot, Nazi, Trump supporter, science denier, flat earther, racist, etc...

Come on, some people just want to enjoy the peace and quiet of their warm and cozy echo-chamber! :D

I don't know anything about AfD, what is their official stance on war in Ukraine such as peace negotiations and military aid?

From posts by you two I assume it's very strict.

Its a bit mixed as they are also Nazis...so tools like Krah visit Belarus.

And Weidel didn't follow the Russian May invitation.

Generally they are pro autocratism and see all the faults within the US regarding the war.

So... Georgia's president has announced she will not hand over power when her term expires in the coming weeks, calling herself "the only independent and legitimate institution left in this country".

Earlier she claimed the results of the election had been tampered by Russia, when called by the Justice system to provide her evidence and refused to testify to the Prosecutor's office.
Nothing screams democracy like ignoring election results and electing yourself as some dictator.
Romania has some troubles... seems the "Russian interference" was actually the ruling party trying to split the votes of it's competitors.
The government tax authorities released this.
Didn't like the results of the election - so it has to be annulled because "Putin"

Stockholm
Long overdue!!!

Yeah, so I'm convinced. Strong language like "looks to limit" and "should" are very reassuring ;-)
It's about as useful as our announced 20% or some such increase in deportation orders.
You know, the one where you have to self deport, nobody actually bundles you in the back of a van.
So "tits on a bull".

Should be self evident.

Russia of course has extensive fleet of ice breakers, but now they have to keep them at sea where Finnish fleet would have helped earlier.

Another thing is that a chunk of Russian ice breakers were designed and built in Finland, with Finnish engines, so they will have harder time with spares.
