Georgia Man Charged In U.S. Capitol Attack Dies By Suicide.

A 53-year-old Georgia man who faced charges in connection to last Wednesday’s attack on the U.S. Capitol has died by suicide, according to the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Forbes.

A LinkedIn page that appears to belong to Georgia listed him as a regional portfolio manager at BB&T, a bank holding company that merged with SunTrust in 2019 to become Truist Financial, up until his death. BB&T did not immediately verify this information with Forbes.

Another Capitol Police Death: Officer Dies By Suicide After Responding To Pro-Trump Riot.

A second U.S. Capitol Police officer has died since Wednesday’s storming of Congress by a mob of President Trump’s supporters, authorities reported Sunday.

Initially announced as an “off-duty” death by the U.S. Capitol Police on Sunday morning, multiple news outlets, former police chief Terrance Gainer and a police report confirmed that Howard Liebengood, 51, died by suicide on Saturday.

Move along, nothing to see here. They just 'committed suicide'.

Nothing extraordinary considering the circumstances.

Morale deteriorates among Capitol police after assault on Capitol

In the wake of the Capitol Hill riots, morale among the rank-and-file in the Capitol Police Department is flagging, multiple sources have told CBS News.

The sources, who are familiar with the internal U.S. Capitol Police response to Wednesday's events, said the department has had to respond to "a couple of incidents" in which officers threatened to harm themselves. In one case, a female officer turned in her own weapon out of fear of what might happen.

"The situation has really demoralized the department. There's tremendous moral injury, a sense of failure weighing them down," one source said. "They went home to family and were asked, 'how did this happen?' And it's very easy for those officers to interpret that as 'how could you let this happen?'"

To address this, mental health and suicide prevention resources have been made widely available. Former Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund, who resigned after the attack, said at his home Monday that the department is "very resilient," but "they're hurting right now," and he reiterated that "we've brought in resources to help them."

yeah, not buying it for a second. My dad worked in mil. police for roughly 20 years.
He's witnessed hundreds of cases of self-harm, attempted suicide of inmates, death, mutilation, blablabla, lots of demoralizing and horrifying S**t. And he's perfectly fine. (maybe a bit too hard for civilian life though, but nothing special)

So either Capitol security employs pussies, or there are completely different reasons for this behavior.

Poor insertion of anecdotal evidence to further advance a conspiracy theory.

Experiences of personal harm by others in the line of duty isn't in anyway comparable to a sense of national embarrassment which has struck the department as a result of the riots.

I don't find it to be anything extraordinary considering the circumstances.

Why is it every time I read one of your posts I hear the little son of a bitch that lived on Jabba's shoulder?

But this would not be complete without a fiery partisan view from a red blooded American, one of my favourite commentators on the web:

I clicked on RazörFist. Thought it was Weird Al Yankovic doing a Michael Jackson parody for a second. Look at those gloves! If that is one of your favorite commentators on the web explains a lot.

When your in a bar[its like twitter, but with chairs to sit in] and there are 2 people arguing, you dont think oh there's one idiot, and one perfectly reasonable person, having an argument.

What you see, is 2 idiots having an argument.

something there for everyone to think about.

Agreed. I'm not looking to ruin anybody's good time. When I read something that pisses me off I like to land a blow and then STFU about it.

What are the special horrifying circumstances exactly?

You didn't see any of the images or video that came out of the riot? What are you using in Lithuania for internet, gypsy turds?

I've seen images and videos from the riot, US riot, Ukraine riot, Syria riot, [insert exhaustive list of riots that took place in the last several decades].
Nothing that happened in the Capitol warrants immediate suicides. PTSD at best, need for psychological therapy and anti-depressants addiction are worst possible outcomes. Stop spinning this as the biggest tragedy the world has ever witnessed. It simply wasn't. Neither by casualty count, nor by level of violence, nor anything else. Much worse things happened in the world that didn't lead to suicides.
Try harder.

Ask him about how protests get suppressed in Iran.
