Politics US Voting Fraud, 2020 and beyond.

I have heard Sidney Powell reportedly said that.
Trump saying it? Who knows, maybe. But maybe not.

Things being put back in their context, we are talking about a NYT reporter (so a reporter working for one of the most vocal anti-Trump journalistic agency) "sharing information" from a "source" "close to Trump".

I kind of doubt anybody near and/or close to Trump would talk to a NYT reporter.

As for "Trump being reinstated by August", I doubt it. A lot.
Audits are barely progressing, the DOJ (or any other agency) appears to be not that interested and/or invested in the matter.
So no. Not going to happen.
I'd doubt it as well. But.....the significance is that a NYT reporter posted it. There are reports that the Biden administration and Nancy Pelosi are in near panic over the possible outcome of the AZ audit and are doing everything they can to kill it.

I'm not trying to sound like a dick here but I'm just confused - an NYT reporter posted it on her personal Twitter, but as near as I can tell, the NYT themselves didn't report it, it's just other news sources picking up on the tweet and reporting on that. But even if the NYT did report it, President Trump had repeatedly told us the NYT shouldn't be trusted.

It's like the third layer of Inception, and I just don't know what's going on.

I don't mean to be a dick either.....but you may want to respond to Maggie Haberman.

I don't really understand what's happening here either - I didn't post the story, but I'm the one that needs to press the reporter about it?

You don't need to do anything. Just sharing a post in a relevant thread. I just find it interesting that a famous NYT reporter would feel the need to share this on her Twitter. It is trending, BTW.

The left, and I include the NYT as one of it's vanguards, rarely do things without some sort of coordination.

I certainly hope Trump is not claiming this. If he is, I certain hope the he shuts up, I also hope that there is at least one person close to him telling him just exactly that, to shut up. It also sounds like BS, and the times has an agenda, as does the reporter, and it wouldnt be the first time they have made something up about Trump out of whole cloth, completely fabricated...

It does not need to be true, it just needs to be "believable".

Make it an "outlandishly" statement by an "outlandish" individual (which Trump was to begin with, but made worse by the way he got depicted by the media), and you will end up having individuals saying "why yes, I believe the story is plausible because it fits the idea I have of the character and I can very well imagine him saying that kind of thing".
We have been able to witness that kind of behavior on this forum regarding numerous stories. A notorious one being "Trump insulted dead soldiers calling them suckers, I believe he did because it fits the image I have of him".

There is no need to prove and/or provide evidence, first of all because the press enjoy that special privilege, but also because "it fits".

And just like the right/far-right/alt-right developped their Q-Anon, Alex-Johnes and Lin Wood "prophets", the left is doing the same thing with people who could be considered as more notorious and supposedly more reliable:

The fraud that is being found in AZ is bad, but it is literally nothing compared to PA......and GA, MI, etc. Line up the prison buses!

Say it ain't so! Don't tell me that Maggie Haberman, the NYT and the rest of the left have fabricated a story?

That's the whole purpose of the thing.

Tell a lie, invent a story.
The seeds are planted and will grow in the minds of those receptive to the lie.

Some are willing to believe anything under the sun as long as it fits their preconceived ideas and biases.

In that case, not only the story is, to these people, true (because it was told and because it fits their preconceived ideas and biases), but the very fact that members of the Trump family are denying it strengthen the truthfulness of the story.

We are in uncharted territory here folks. If AZ and other states decertify, I'm not sure what happens.

If anything happened, if it came down to that, and I don't think anything is likely to happen, that would be very interesting.

I mean, there are no precedents. That kind of thing never happened before.

So... let's go on the big hypothetical: election is de-certified. Then what?

Sorry but Article 2 of the US Constitution says otherwise.

States have the final say, holding all the power in their elections. Federal level has no power in these matters.

Hence the certification of the votes... by the state.
