Gaming PC & Console games discussion

Yup, i got a brand new RTX card for it. If i knew i might have delayed that purchase. I hope they take the time to polish the game so that it dose not require an Enhanced Edition like Witcher did.

Oh well, delays me having to spend up large on a new PC that can cope with it.
just in time for the new graphics cards - up to 20 gig of memory

insane spec and insane price

I'm pretty good with PCs, if you want a recommendation i can help you.

I'm just curious. Might need a new PC in a few months. Not a PC gamer, but if I'm getting a new machine, just might as well :) Motherboard and video card are always the primary components for video games.

It's actually in this order of importance for games, the GPU(video card), CPU(processor), RAM, storage media(for loading times). My main PC's an i5 8600K with an RTX and 16GB of RAM.
I also have a Xeon 5675, GTX 1070Ti and 12GB of RAM and a i7 3770k stock, RX560 and 8GB. And lots of older hardware in storage like i7 920, Q9505 and X38 board, an i3, a Sempron 3000+, HD6950, GTX660, 8800GTX, ATi X850XT etc. :D

Dying Light 2 is also delayed (it was supposed to came out this spring, but it won't). My predictions: they'll tease us a bit at E3 and release it neck and neck with Cyberpunk2077. Until then the best thing on the horizon is DOOM Ethurnal. There is a lot new gameplay videos and info uploaded by early access YouTubers, but I didn't watch them all because of spoilers. Anyway, here is the most decent 2 minutes from everything shown this week:

What kind of spoilers can be in a DOOM game!? Does it even have a plot?

DOOM 2016 have a glimpse about the story with a demonic voice, activated by pressing inscribed stones in hell. Developers are promising that the next game will have more details about that.

Also, Konami has confirmed its intentions to make another game based on this creepy but incredible town. Hope the result is gonna live up to the high standards of the Silent Hill name.

Btw, if anyone is interested, I have made some gameplay of my own with Wargame: Airland Battle on youtube. It's with opponent's perspective. He tried to make air assault but came too close to me and exposed himself to the fire of my cheaper units.

Seem like the most complete VR game so far. However, I would buy any game just because it is set in a Half-Life universe if it wasn't VR that is. A minimum of 600$ as far as I remember for a headset makes me reconsider. The atmosphere brings back a lot of memories though.

Indeed. The concept art is like from the original Half-Life 2 with 2020 graphic and more interaction. But the zombies this time looks less gruesome which is pity.

I'm very much a casual gamer so it's a PS4 for me, rather than a PC. I like openworld games where I can just wonder around and do what I want rather than being on a set storyline (GTA5, Assassins Creed, the Arkham games) so I've recently started to replay Red Dead Redemption 2 and it still amazes me just how good it. The storyline and acting are better than a lot of movies and sometimes it's just beautiful to look at.

For the life of me, I cannot figure out how this game got positive reviews. The difficulty level is sky high and is made so by complicated controls, wonky camera in close battles, oddly spaced save points (save points!? c'mon) and re-spawning enemies in the game that you have to backtrack a lot, really A LOT. The story is solid, and I enjoyed it. This is why I actually finished the game on the easiest "Story Mode" difficulty setting. Honestly, I expected Assasin's Creed type of a game in Star Wars universe setting, but this effort well well short of the mark.

I keep meaning to get that game (RDR2) but will wait till somewhere has an offer I cannot refuse

Playing Farcry5 at the moment which is actually a very good game - I never look at any of the how to guides - the only thing that did spoil it a bit I stumbled into a excellent snipers rifle first off

currently loving 'Hell Let loose' they just added M4 Jumbo, and M4 with 76mm gun, so we can take on the Tiger tank. 100 people per game.
