I don't know how you guys can play shooters on those consoles. Except racing, action, games like Mario and sport games. All other genres of games i reserve for when i am home in front of my PC with a mouse and keyboard

My steam deck is hooked up on a mouse and PC as well as my TV. It was intended to replace my laptop, ps4 and budget PC. It has the bonus of me being able to bring it anywhere and use it at my hotel stays.

Well yes, but Starfield uses many times the resources that HL2 does to do advanced graphics calculations!

So I finally tried Death Stranding 1 myself and in my opinion all criticism of being a "walking simulator" is... 100% true. After few hours of gameplay I simply gave up, literally nothing happens except boring briefings about where to go, packing a backpack by using some unnecessary complicated interface, and one time some black sludge attacked without the option of me fighting back. Graphics are great when it comes to rocks, hills and facial animations during cutscenes. The last one is actually bad, because Norman Reedus is the ugliest mf I have seen as a main character ever. And the way Hideo Kojima wasted so much efforts to make his naked body super realistic with all sorts of details, including S**t and piss routines... is this guy ok?

From my perspective single player shooters like DOOM on consoles are not too hard, but on multiplayer matches I get gangrape and humiliation most of the time. So yes, I also prefer keyboard and mouse when it comes to that, but there are a lot of people who are real pros with a controller. There was a lot of skepticism about the first Halo game before release exactly because of being a FPS shooter on a console, but it became one of the biggest Xbox hits of all time.

The Battlefield 6 multiplayer is exactly as I was afraid it would be - everyone is running like Speedy Gonzales, it all boils down to basic reflexes, no strategic or tactical aspect, vehicles seems to be almost worthless and the game in general has become a COD clone.

Arma Reforger, still not full on sim. But a sort of medium balance. I hadn't played a shooter in 20 years and I still like it.

I have had the game since 2015, won it at a contest. I am only interested in the singleplayer part. But i won't believe it until it is installed and running on my PC

The multiplayer part is in pretty decent shape now. Three entire star systems, dozens of planets and moons. Hundreds of space stations, outposts, towns and cities to visit. Trading, mining, salvage, mercenary FPS, combat missions galore. And it works best when in a team but it's also definitely viable as a solo player.
