I know multiple people who own firearms. Please do not involve us in bizarre far right US politics. It annoys me. For some reason.

Dont get me wrong, getting a gun here means going inside the police main camps, get a drug test, background check, neuro psychiatric evaluation, then you get a license to own a firearm or firearms. Then you get a license for each gun you buy.

They have limit the selling of 5.56 and higher ammo due to the Marawi seige where the AFP found they used the weekly competition for the terrorists to hone their skill... no gun confiscations or buy back though

NZ has got quite the suppressor industry going on. Many guns here have a threaded barrel. With our introduced species that are classed as pests by other greeny conservation groups its created a little philosophical divide among the libtards. You need a suppressor to shoot more than one pest each time..same with letting pest control and farmers continue to use semi autos.
The gun control fanatics did try and take them and failed there also. We did get a few victories of common sense.

Yeah Suppressed allowed here in Ireland too, can be for perfectly sensible reasons as above or comfort on the shooting range.
You just get an S on your licence indicating suppressor allowed.

Ireland has got quite the history of course with actual war. Suppressors don't make a huge difference on high velocity. Unless its close range.
Subsonic here with 44 mag thumpers is very successful on bigger deer sized animals they call pests here.
Suppressors aren't all they make out to be as some kind of vodoo object able to cause failure of society.
Hearing devices that cut down on loud noise only...should they also be banned.
Thankfully some logic head way can be made with the total gun ban zealots but only by not acting apathetic.

Lauding anything Australia on firearms as being good law is hilarious.

How are we meant to trust the Police Minister with a firearms register when she’s already failing to look after licensed firearms owners’ information?

When I questioned Poto Williams in Parliament today, she told me she had known since 26 May that criminals obtained the private details of licensed firearms owners by stealing them from a disused police station, but she still doesn’t know how many people are affected.

I am not lauding anything. Other than the ADF training the Filipino military in contemporary urban warfare. So they could take the fight to ISIS in Marawi. Which they did. With great success.
