Politics The UK general election - 12 Dec 2019

Nope, the right also has its issues with anti-Semitism.

But there isn't the head of a major political party on the British right who likes hanging out with Hezbollah and Hamas. Who invites to tea people who've been busy repeated the blood libel. Who's deputies request that holocaust deniers be re-appointed to roles within the party.

One party is full of anti-Semites and their hangers on - and continues to deny that they have a problem. The other is not. One party is being investigated by the EHRC, one is not. The only other party to ever have been investigated by the EHRC were the BNP. What joyous company to be in.

There is a reason why anti-Semitism is also called "the socialism of fools".
you forgot to mention Venezuela:rolleyes:

Both parties are a hollow shell of what they were 50 or 60 years ago with tiny memberships by comparison. Which is why small cliques are able to dominate without having even the slightest popular support in the general public. And a big part of that is that they've both abandoned any pretence that anyone could join and rise in the ranks. If you didn't go to Oxbridge and get a PolSci degree you're not going to be in charge of anything more important than making the tea.
That's the issue with most historical parties in Europe
Like unions, they have all became empty shells with very few members. And in this case, it is always the most agressive and most vocals minorities within the parties that are heard and set the sail road.

just got polled earlier by Yougov ... one of the questions asked was what i thought of Jeremy Corbyn ... chortle

anyhoo that Rabbi from a couple of days ago was a card carrying Tory ... very underhand

I'm happy to admit that I would vote for Labour, if JC, Abbot and McDonnell didn't exist. But as it stands, I'd rather staple my Bo*****S to a passing express train.

In other news, I was there today, we had to leave early as the PM was returning eraliy from a meeting. We got a cheeky wave from the lunatic though.

I wonder if is metal, armored, or otherwise....

Anyhow! I was just watching SkyNews yesterday evening and I saw someone let the cat out that door... The PM's door! Now someone from MI.net sends us a photo from that same door.

What a funny world.

voted this morning - its a vile wet day

A rainy Election Day is a happy day, Sir.

I am under une impression that BoJo wins big in this one and the long overdue Brexit is to come on 31st of January.
