My impression was he didnt give a S**t what was written as long as it was not a blatant fabrication.

Either that or he couldn't allow himself to spend his time going after each and every fake stories "leaked" about him.

But was he "media-addicted" though?

Active on twitter: yes. Very active, perhaps too much.

But on other media? He gave the occasional interview, especially/mostly Fox, but the rest of the time it was mostly the media going after him; and not him chasing the media in order to have stories written about him.

Of course, if we compare Trump to Biden Trump can easily give the impression to be "media-addicted", considering Biden has yet to say anything in public.
