Here is another video from there - "politely" knocking on the glass with clubs on their hands, seconds before smashing it right in front of bunch of woman:

They didn't even bother to wear their pseudo-police uniforms and decided to show off as what they really are - a regular thugs.

I wonder how long this is going to last. Non-violent demonstrations will not bring down Lukashneko. On the other hand, any violence by protesters will bring about Russian intervention, covert or overt doesn't really matter.

More regime thugs with masks. One of them had his face uncovered and it turns out he is from Russia (Saint Petersburg)

Thanks for the tip off about masks :D

Haha, you just copy-pasted that stupid propaganda from usual playbook.

Law enforcement personnel in civil clothes and masks participated in riot control actions all over the world since forever.

Non-violent demonstrations will result in the same. Lukashenko now has no other option left than to sign the association agreement with Russia which in time will mean full absorption into the Russian Federation. Russia has been pushing for this since the mid 90s and was reinvigorated after Putin took over. Lukashenko tried to remain neutral and reinforce an independent position by playing the EU and Russia against one another, but the idiots in Brussels and their allies in the media thought this was a request to "Maidan" Belarus into their own sphere of influence. He warned that voting in favour of the EU/against him would mean losing any bargaining chip they had with Moscow. And it shows. Either he signs the agreement and sees Belarus absorbed in the RF or he doesn't sign, the Russians move in either due to violence or by request of the new government of their pawn Kolesnikova . If he tries to go for the status quo the economy will inevitably tank to the point where he can no longer pay the security services and he'll be done for. The EU and their propaganda channels have manoeuvred Belarus into a position where the only way out is handing the country over to Russia. Another brilliant *ahum* strategic move by the EU. Now Russian forces will be directly controlling the bottleneck to the Baltic states ???

Kolesnikova was reportedly kidnapped in Minsk by being shoved into a van and has dissappeared along with 3 of her associates. Depending on how outspoken they want to be about their favored candidate this could be the casus belli that Putin needs. This is where it gets interesting. One of them is her spokesperson Anton Rodnenkov. He confirmed the kidnapping and then dissappeared without trace himself 40 minutes later. Could be she's gone into hiding, that the authorities are keeping her as insurance, another opposition faction wanting to get rid of her or that her handlers want to be in direct control.

Coming from someone who came up with false-comparison cliche as "argument" for his demagogy.
For example, in Amerika it's the BLM protesters who vandalize shops, cars and harass people on the streets, while in Belarus this is done by Lukashenko's own pseudo-police. The absence of uniforms is just a tip of the iceberg, I'm just mention it because without them the thuggish image of Lukashenko's defenders is complete.

Lol you supported riots in Ukraine where neo-nazist not only vandalized buildings and harass people, but killed both random people and policemen. You actually support Odessa massacre, just because murdered people were pro-russian.

There is no such things (yet) in Belorussia because of effective law enforcement anti-riot actions.

The Belarussians are stuck between a rock and a hard place here. In reality noone has an interest for any change. It is quite complicated. On the other hand I wonder what would happen if Russia stepped in. Not a nice picture.

Every time when some deranged autocrat can't keep his realm under control, at least one pseudo-expert with obsession about EU/NATO/US/CIA will jump in to explain how it's all their fault...
???

What will be the reasons Russia steps in be this time? No Nazis here. The only possible solution is to overthrow Lukaschenko.

At some point all this fabricated stuff just gets annoying. I saw a political discourse yesterday in German TV not about Belarus but about Nawalny.

If it quacks like a duck and walks like a duck well you know. Only nutjobs still follow this narrative.

I do not see any reason for Russian military intervention at the time. Actually military and police are the most potent parts of Lukashenko rule. Me think Russia will support him other way, and Lukashenko will paid full price this time.

Maria Kolesnikova was detained today by "police in civil clothes"

Nobody heard about her since this morning.
Our officials deny she was detained. Two other members of Coordination Soviet probably were detained as well today.

Have to wonder what scale of corruption we will find out about after he goes/replaced.

I wonder that as well. I think he is the sole proprietor. :) Lukashenko biggest appeal in the late-1990s and early-2000s was that there were no oligarchs unlike Russia or Ukraine and no rapid de-industrialization took place. Belarus does have a very vibrant outsourced IT and software sector, but these companies will move out for sure with Poland being the biggest beneficiary of such migration, me thinks.

Sounds like a recipe for mass change, and emmigration... does Belarus become the new Poland?? I'm not saying thats a bad thing, BTW.

Ah, the Slavic version of Antifa, once again hunting "Nazis" in Eastern Europe with deranged internet comments, on the streets with clubs in their hands, and tanks if necessary. After failing to keep Ukraine in politically correct (pro-Russian) line, now the activists see the protests against Lukashenko as the "Rise of Fascism".
