The unmanned aerial systems of the Armed Forces of Ukraine demonstrated the capabilities of the latest laser complex "Trident". As reported, the laser "Trident" can destroy drones, aerial bombs, cruise and ballistic missiles at a distance of up to 3000 meters. Helicopters, aircraft and reconnaissance drones at a distance of up to 5000 meters. The laser can blind the optics of drones, missiles and helicopters at a distance of up to 10,000 meters. It is worth noting that the laser air defense is controlled by a joystick, how cruise and especially ballistic missiles will be hit is unclear. The laser power is also unknown. The laser can operate in various weather conditions. The Ukrainian laser "Trident" was announced in December 2024 by the commander of the SBS Vadim Sukharevsky, who said that Ukraine became the fifth country in the world to possess laser weapons.

The Spanish firm Tecnove and Ukraine's Research and Production Association 'Practika' have signed an agreement for the production in Spain at its factory of Herencia (Ciudad Real), of Djura and Khozak vehicles (armored personnel carrier, ambulance and special operations versions confirmed).

The production agreement in Spain opens the way for the production of these Ukranian vehicles (and spare parts) on secure European soil, both for supply to the Ukrainian armed forces and for global export.

Tecnove has previously been involved with the Spanish military aid programs for Ukraine, assisting in the overhaul, conversion or modification and equipping of military vehicles donated by the Spanish Government to Ukraine (BMRs, M-113s, etc...).

The rare American M114 howitzers began to be used by the Ukrainian army, and now they are one of the oldest pieces of artillery in service with the Ukrainian army. Earlier, 105-mm M101 howitzers from the Second World War, used by the Ukrainian army, were also shown. Greece had previously announced its intention to transfer 70 M114 howitzers from storage to Ukraine. The 155-mm M114 howitzer was developed in the USA in 1941, we can say this howitzer is a "veteran" of the Second World War. During the Second World War, the M114 howitzer was the main medium howitzer of the US Army and continued to remain in service for several decades after it. The M114 howitzers were actively used in the Korean and Vietnam Wars.
The calculation of the M114 howitzer is up to 11 people, the length of the howitzer barrel is 24.4 caliber, the firing range is 14600 meters, the rate of fire is up to 2 rounds per minute, the weight of the howitzer is 5800 kg.

The United Kingdom is set to supply five additional Raven air defense systems to Ukraine, bolstering the country’s ability to intercept Iranian-designed Shahed drones and other airborne threats.

British Forces Broadcasting Service (BFBS) has released new footage and details of the system, which has quietly become one of the most successful short-range air defense platforms in Ukraine.

Known officially as Raven and informally dubbed “Frankensam,” the system is the result of a rapid development initiative launched by the Royal Air Force’s Air and Space Warfare Center. It was completed in just four months using existing components from the UK’s defense inventory.

The system combines the Supercat HMT-600 military truck with a vertical launch module for ASRAAM (Advanced Short Range Air-to-Air Missiles), creating a mobile, high-speed air defense unit capable of neutralizing low-flying drones and even combat aircraft.

Raven was first deployed to Ukraine in spring 2023. Since then, the system has fired over 400 missiles against aerial targets, achieving an estimated success rate of 70%. British officials say eight systems have already been transferred to Ukrainian forces, and five more are currently being prepared for delivery.

Also noted that the ASRAAM’s performance in ground-based roles has exceeded expectations. The missile, typically launched from fighter aircraft, weighs 88 kg, carries a 10 kg warhead, and can reach speeds up to Mach 3. When launched from the ground, its effective range is estimated at up to 15 kilometers.

The Ukrainian army showed the Soviet S-200V/M Vega air defense system, used for firing at ground targets. The S-200 air defense system was adopted by the USSR in 1967, it can hit targets at an altitude of up to 40 km and a range of up to 255 km. This air defense is still effective. Launches of Ukrainian 5V28 missiles are carried out from stationary 5P72 launchers. It is worth noting that the S-200 air defense systems were removed from service by Ukraine in 2013 and were in storage, but since 2022 they have been used again. It is currently unknown how functional the missiles are, presumably some of the missiles were received from Europe. Ukrainian missiles received a new inertial navigation system, as well as a GPS correction module, the range of the missiles was increased to 450 km.

The first motorcycle company has been formed in the Ukrainian army as part of the 425th separate assault regiment "Skala". At the same time, Ukrainian media noted that motorcycles and ATVs have been successfully used in the Russian army since last year. It is worth noting that the Ukrainian army has already begun to use ATVs, but the use of motorcycles was previously usually ridiculed. As reported, the assault regiment "Skala" is now conducting intensive training on motorcycles, sometimes up to 14 hours a day. According to Ukrainian servicemen of the regiment "Skala", the use of motorcycles allows for the rapid delivery of infantry, changing the direction of attack and reducing the risk of being hit by drones
