The price of a litre of LPG in Kazakhstan went up from 10p to 20p - now that's a 100% increase, but it's still chicken feed compared to anywhere else (most vehicles in Kaz run on LPG)

UK - Boris has decided not to cut 5% VAT on heating - so more old people will die this winter - way he is going he will run out of voters soon
VAT is an EU tax - so how about getting rid of all VAT on everything?

So much for the UK's 'Green Revolution' which will cost every household £1,700 per year from now till 2050 (you could buy Kaz for that)

No wonder people are out in the streets - as soon as the increase in NI and inflation kicks in, I am pretty sure you will see this in the UK

These so called "Green Revolutions", no matter the country, are anything but green.

But at least spoopy nuclear is gone.

Nigerians protest Increase in Electricity and Fuel Prices.

BTW, talking about nuclear power - Kazakhstan has 12% of the world's uranium resources and in 2020 produced about 19,500 tU. In 2009 it became the world's leading uranium producer, with almost 28% of world production. In 2019, Kazakhstan produced 43% of the world's uranium.

Another interesting thing is that Kazakhstan is a major exporter of coal, oil and gas so the protests may cause energy prices rise and protests in the rest of the world.
