Lori Lightfoot’s old mate the former Speaker of the Illinois House Michael Madigan was the longest serving political leader in US history.
50 years.
Not long after his rapid resignation he was indicted for being a corrupt piece of filth.
It gets worse. Michael Madigan wasn’t indicted until after his own daughter, the former Illinois Attorney General, had served 16 years providing him top cover, finishing up in that role not long before Michael Madigan resigned and was indicted.
When asked about it Lightfoot talked about it being too soon to tell what would happen and how important it is to have confidence in leadership.
They all need to be thrown in a Sarlacc pit.
