Boring debate last evening. Marine le Pen tried to look more professional and more knowledgeable about the economy. She did better than in 2017 but it was still not at level..she´s a lefty on these issues anyways.

Macron tried to look less arrogant...Not exactly a success either as these pics from the debate show...many potential memes.

Two graffiti artists who were tagging in on a Brooklyn subway and killed by an oncoming train have been identified as well-known French street artists, Pierre Audebert, 28, and Julien Blanc, 34.

I just can´t for the RN. Socialists on the economy and bad blood on the rest.

I would have hoped for another choice, I would have appreciated something a little disruptive in our governance...but voting le Pen won´t do it.

Ivan is right. Whatever makes you think they were Macrons voter is largely irrelevant to this thread unless you are, as usual being provocative and insulting toward the French you appear to abhor, judging from your sources of “news”.

Your wanna be self righteous attitude and cheering on dead people, whatever they have done or felonies they committed is unrelated to this election.

Banning you from this thread is more than fair, but for your own good I’ll let you cure Covid with your missus and suggest you make an appointment with a therapist or just change the one you’re currently seeing because he or she clearly isn’t helping.

In term of hi-profile figures? Well, there is Mélanchon, but having him facing LePen... tough choice if you are adamant on voting, since blank votes would go to the winner.
Abstention would be the only "moral" choice, though, at the same time, perhaps a form of defeatism.
Mélanchon vs Macron? Easier choice I suppose and possibly more obvious outcome, with Mélanchon likely winning.

As for all the others Pecresse, Zemmour, Lasalle, Hidalgo, etc... token participants.

Al surveys showed Melenchon would not win against macron and by a much alrger margin than le Pen.

Melenchon filled up on all left votes two weeks ago with 21%. Nothing left. Much less true of le Pen.

Melenchon/ le Pen...I would have most likely voted blank. Melenchon is an insane dictator wannabe with a troops of ultra violent militias that would have imposed terror on the streets. Much worse than le Pen.

Well, Macron reportedly won a second term with, as of now, 58,2% of the votes.

We could have had better...but also much worse.
