Politics All Things Trump

Affected his first regime change and he hasn't even been inaugurated yet! 👏

Up next: France, don’t believe the medias and polls, I know enough fellas here who like his stance, his character and personality not as much. He’s not POTUS to be likable anyway.

Interesting. Interesting.

So, what is this Greenland stuff about? Distract the people and the media by saying something crazy enough or something else?

Trump's name is synonymous with real easte.

The current Greenland gov is taxcindy world - banned mining, the only real hope of them gaining self sufficiency. They get 20% of their economy donated to them by Denmark. Usual story of handouts.

I am not pleased by this Greenland distraction. Unless there is something going on with the Chinese....... They're always up to something.

If Trump pulls this off, The Greenlanders will be buying Range Rovers and Land Cruisers, just for a day of drifting, like the Saudis do.

I have always thought of these people who can live in that place as resourceful, just looking at how they could create waterproof insulated clothing using basically stone age tech and the kayak.

Hey sanctimonious “Kamala is a warmonger” folks, how do you like Trump now?

I just love the fact that the Americans in this thread seem to be totally on board with this insanity.

So he'll buy Canada, attack Panama and Denmark, and rename the Gulf of Mexico.

Didn't you vote for that guy to lower cost of living? Great to see everyone has their priorities in order.

Folks, you've traded senile dementia for infantile dementia. And America is going to become even more oligarchic than it already is, by the looks of it.

Bismark and Teddy Roosevelt did invade and are heroes in their respective countries yet Trump has yet to invade anyone, non in his first term.
Seems more like leverage but Taiwan is a problem and currently China owns both ends of the Panama Canal and may already own all the second biggest pile of strategic minerals in the world next door in Greenland so of course these are serious issues.
The one with actual dementia whom was fired these were not even ideas.

Half of the kids in any class get diagnosed with ADHD, anxieties, dyslexia etc these days.

I'm sure it has nothing to do with healthcare getting a cut of the proceeds.

It is a problem that is decades old as well.

I'd say perhaps back to the 80ies or so; that period when "mood altering medications" were pretty much prescribed like candies.

Meds may play a role, but I'd blame parents. ADHD and anxiety disorder correlate with a lack of discipline in parenting.

The rise in dyslexia is a global one, regardless of the quality and form of healthcare, and likely related to the decline of handwriting and book-reading. Read a very interesting study on this a while ago. A ridiculous number of Chinese university graduates, for example, can't write nor read traditional Chinese scripture anymore, because they only ever use Pinyin. And like a third of them get diagnosed with dyslexia, a rise in the hundreds of percent.

Handing in their global superpower status for Greenland, seems like the deal of the century.

It's weird. The US already won the game, but Trump is playing it like these contenders like Russia or China. Just by having a chat, they could increase their military presence there.

I'm not. he needs to STFU, or someone in his administration needs to tell him to. there are a million more important issues than this, and I say a million because this one in particular ranks near zero both in importance and possibility.

I remember an administration of a president, called one of the greatest in history by most, waiting until it's ideological near-twin was so desperate to the point where they traded loads of bases all over the world for a couple of leaky derelict hulls, instantly transforming his country into a global superpower. Whatever needs to be done to reach the goal.

This isn't about bases, it's resources. Which China is acquiring at an alarming rate due to western politeness and self-enforced weakness. I've seen Muck and Pegasus posting about European companies being sold to China so they can get their hands on the technology often enough. Infrastructure projects in the Balkans and Italy financed by China to provide leverage (extortion when they can't pay back the loan).

Etc.

We've been allowing China to make us their bootlicker for decades by being the nice guy.

Nice guys finish last.
