Politics BLM protests across the US

Police ends demonstration in The Hague. Around 350-400 people had gathered, but the protest was ended by the police after 20 minutes with the excuse that not everyone was keeping their distance. This hadn't stopped BLM protests, but there was one tiny little problem with the demonstration; the protesters were holding up signs reading "100% anti Antifa" and "All lives matter" as well as protesting against Corona lockdown measures. To put that into context as just one example of the ridiculously random rules you're not allowed to travel together in a car unless you're related, but fully laden aircraft with hundreds of people breathing into each other's faces for hours are a-ok. The government is also trying to push through legislation that would give them the power to rule by decree in case of an "emergency". A previous lockdown protest of around 50 people was beaten into submission by the police with 29 people being arrested.

In between these two protests was a BLM protest in Amsterdam of over 14,000 people in which no social distancing was maintained including by the mayor of Amsterdam, a combination of Lenin and Greta Thunberg. No police intervention here because the mayor considered this protest "too important". She didn't even put on PPE because that would have ruined her photo-op.

It certainly is, since our new world order Marxists/fascists want to destroy anyone who disagrees with them.

It's nearly 02:00AM in the UK and I'm watching a programme on BBC where this black American guy is talking about racism in the U.S.A.:
Five minutes on and I've got eough. I simply cannot listen this guy for any longer. He just expects black people to be treated as somebody special due to the U.S. history of slavery that ended 150 years ago.

National radio news here in the USA is spouting the line that the Georgia drunk was not armed, and not committing a crime when firing or attempting to fire a tazer at the police:

WRONG

Wow. Pretty amazing.

These days a witch hunt could ensue at pretty much every university in the West… which is gut-wrenchingly sad, to be honest.

Historically, the first universities were founded in Europe to provide wise men with a "safe space" from the clergy's and the worldly lords' restrictions on the freedom of teaching.

Modern universities have been squandering this hard-earnt freedom.

To be fair @muck you are expecting a rational argument. I don't think this one. I don't have a problem if these lefties having got their issue aired, now pack up and leave it to the grown ups. But if they think they can win, in the UK by damaging things, and that there wont be a response, I think they are very wrong. The right clearly are ready to go. The people in the middle want to get back to work etc. Strong political ideology, on either side, tends to dwindle as kids and mortgages come on the scene.....

I also would warn all sides, that Boris may not be afraid of breaking a few eggs, plenty of harvesting to be done this year, a few chain gangs or whatever could be a vote winner....

I think there's more to it fluff . The last 4 years in the UK has been argument after counter argument with a political class incapable of articulating any sort of clear direction . What we have seen over the last few weeks for me , get used to it because it isn't going away any time soon . As history has shown when there's an economic crisis ( in this case 2008) and political leaders fail to act in the correct manner then civil disobedience normally follows as you are left with a stressed populace . Though the disobedience can be over a range of random issues as all things in life the chickens always come home to roost .

Stressed, bored, unemployed, fed up of BREXIT, fed up of COVID. Are we seeing the same or similar to the Trump bad? Every and any thing is allowed, as a group or party or anarchist organisation(An oxymoron surely) doesnt like it. Well you could be right. I hope your wrong, and that as people go back to work, or that great hobby called shopping, things get a little more normal. Maybe this is why Boris is signaling pubs to open in a couple of weeks?

I predict a huge spending plan - HS2, roads, schools, hospitals and a mask factory or 2. And Ant n Dec back on the telly.
