The morale on this one is overwhelming though. Definitely no "Why am I holding this stupid blanket?" or "kill me now please".

This is too stupid even for such ignorant person like you. Sure you didn't know anything about history and religion. And of course you never realised who are these strange looking characters with sorrow faces in weird closes. But still you must have to understand that making fun about religion it is not cool and not funny.

I do honestly think that Virgin Mary's face expression is the only accurate thing on the stupid painting. The idiot who put her there probably wanted to look like her sadness is caused by Ukrainian fascism, Western hypocrisy or baby crucifixions, but in the end it genuinely seems that she just don't want to give her blessing to a bunch of murderers.

About the military aspect of the situation - the only chance of Putin in case of full scale invasion is a quick victory. If it turns into another trench stalemate, this will demoralise Russian society.

The panic expression on the face of ukro El-supremo tells what will it be if Russian army will interfeer in Ukraine civil war.

If Ukraine goes to war, I see chances of Odessa, Kherson, Nykolaiv, Zaporizia, Mariupol & Dnipropetrovsk changing hands. And in many of those places, you will see civies partying in the streets for their "liberators". If whats left of Ukrainian navy isnt sunk, (following the best ukrainian tradition)it will be sold by the ukrainian olygarchs to Angola, Mozambique, Congo or DRC for some quick cash ??
Hope cooler heads prevail, or suicidal ukrainian leadership is foing to screw it big time

I'm pretty sure the only reason it turned into a trench stalemate to begin with was because Russia wasn't interested in a full scale invasion and wanted to protect the status quo of 2 breakaway republics staying in breakaway-mode.

If Russia commits to full scale invasion, that means no more hiding behind bushes, which in turn means full air superiority, paradrops, along with a push across the entire length of the border ( + from coastline). A stalemate is highly unlikely in this case, a repeat of 2008 on excessive steroids is more likely.
But again, the question remains whether Russia is at all interested in a all-out invasion, as the issue remains: what to do with those territories after they're taken? Who needs them?

- So if I got this straight, back in March Zelensky signed an order telling UA command to retake Crimea and Donbass. (which seems like a declaration of war by itself)
- Then Russia reacted to this by creating a massive military build-up across Ukraine's entire borderline.
- And now Zelensky is requesting to talk to Putin.

Well there is the assaulter and the assaulted....

Two detachments of the Russian Army, along with three airborne units, are ready and waiting in the event conflict with the West escalates into full-blown fighting, Moscow said on Tuesday after a surprise inspection of troops.
After paying a visit to the soldiers, Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu told journalists that the personnel met the standards required for the situation. “The troops have shown full readiness and ability to fulfill the tasks of ensuring the country’s military security,” he said.

Looks to me like Russia is going full out to call US/NATO's bluff on Ukraine, something along the lines of "We're ready to go in guns blazing, what about you?"

Well, there is already some talk that OSCE is unable to utilize surveillance drones in some areas over Donbass due to increasing activity of Russian EWs in the region. So...

Could be British.
According to mirror.co.uk: A small team of UK special forces has deployed to the region along with specialist communications troops from a Royal Signals detachment.

There could be trade off between Russia's SP2 project and US Ukraine project.

CNN writes:
Senior administration officials have met over the last week to discuss the potential response, which the White House has also said would include an "unseen" component. Complicating the deliberations, however, has been Russia's massing of troops along Ukraine's eastern border, ratcheting up tensions with the US.
Officials now are weighing how the potential new sanctions and other punishments might provoke further escalation.
