Some Russian flags were noticed on the protest. Does that mean that we have an evidence that the protest might be kremlin-friendly?:

The participants went home happy and satisfied except for those who received silly prizes for playing silly games.

Today the brave warriors of Lukashenko scored another victory against a small group of old ladies. This time the "rioters" broke the pseudo-law by sitting in a bench:

I like your joke of regurgitating pb pictures from the "very disgusting channel" (c) in an attempt to copycat the BLM with PBM :D,-aus

At the moment, all enterprises and educational institutions of the country are working as usual.

Calls for a strike are heard again. Opposition employers from Poland this time offer to go on strike private business as well. Let's see if Polish companies in Belarus will support the strike - clothing stores LPP, furniture manufacturer BRB - Brest and others. They had not gone on strike before.

The presidential meeting in Sochi ended.

Kremlin press secretary Peskov summed up the results of the negotiations between Lukashenko and Putin:

- discussed the issues of energy supplies, "the result is constructive"

- agreed to intensify the work of intergovernmental commissions and industry enterprises

- the heads of regions of the two countries were instructed to organize a meeting

- Putin instructed to prepare the first batch of anti Covid19 vaccine for Belarus

- Belarus will be allocated a new loan of $ 1.5 billion

- Lukashenka confirmed his intention to launch a constitutional reform in Belarus.

- The issue of the placement of Russian military bases was not discussed

- The issue of the placement of Russian military bases was not discussed

I think what will happen is the creation of joint units an undercover takeover of Belarus military by the Russians while keeping up the appearances. Who knows maybe the time honored colonial tradition, lower ranks composed of locals with officers coming from metropole.

The opposition was pleading with Putin to come to their aid, but the Kremlin bet on an old horse, maybe there is a long game in play.

This thread can be re-named Demonstrations in Belarus there are absolutely no riots and no violent behavior on the part of protesters. The only way they can succeed is through national strike, which so far hasn't materialized. With cold weather coming up, I think that the process will fizzle unless Lukashenko do something unbelievably stupid like firing on protesters with live ammunition.

It's easy to rally people around a very simple idea - "Luka bad, Luka must go.", in fact just as easy as rallying crowds around "white bad, male bad" elsewhere in the world.
Hard to rally and find people who assess anything at all from the perspective of geopolitics, long-term strategy, and international relations. That's the job of politicians and bureaucrats, and that's why they're not so keen on supporting the "Luka must go, who needs a plan" crowd.

Let me show you the difference between the people that you and morris are comparing:

Protests in USA:

As we can see, Antifa resembles the Belarusian "law enforcement" more than anything out there - they look like thugs, they act like thugs:

No need for that, they already have the defense treaty and it is enough to keep NATO from stupid adventurism.

why does NATO need Belarus in any way shape or form? At this point, the popular opinion in Belarus is to remain neutral. No one is coming to get Lukashenko.

The people want to be in the EU. Be careful what you wish for. NZ Aussie have the best trade relations in the world. No one copied it. No one turns up to do the study. No one quotes it in the UN. No it has to be a democracy that's subservient to a central power and instead we send politiians to their top hotels to study their socialism..

Pro-western protesters attacked two women who removes protester's posters\flags near their home building:
