Politics Protests in Belarus

The women's action has ended.
The atmosphere was not so festive this time. There was no organisation, there was no definite route: where it turned out, they moved there, following the first rows. There were no pregnant women. But some went with children.
The riot police have seriously spoiled the mood. At the end, the march broke into streams and each group went its own way, men did not support women, the lack of funding and enthusiasm is evident. Last time it was more spectacular.
The main external event of the day was the free show in Paris.

You are mistaken it isn't nexta or tutby or some other maidan channel.

Yep, the channel that was advising the riot to police to check whether the pregnant women were really pregnant or just wearing pillows. Classy!

That was advice from the white-red-white riots organisers, I wouldn't call it classy.

False flag if I ever saw one. But all of this is not new to me. I've seen this before, made by "Russian Propaganda". I'm just waiting for them to accuse Belorussians of eating Russian-speaking babies. Same templates as in 2014 don't even bother to come up with something new.

Can you give us a breakdown of Russian media? I don't watch Russian TV at the moment, Skobeeva and Soloviev are too much for me at the moment, but so far I've noticed that only the outlets controlled by "Russia Today" are pro-Lukashenko while usually pro-Kremlin and moderate pro-Kremlin sources like Lenta and Nezavisimaya Gazeta are pro-opposition or at least trying to caution Russian leadership from making hasty moves and worsening the situation not so much for Belarus, but for Russia itself.
Sorry, but you suggest tut.by narrative which is very biased. Tut.by employers and sponsors are officially joined the Coordination Council which leads the protests on the streets. They never admitted it (as they avoid admitting that they lead the protests) but judging by what they're doing Coordination Council is pro-EU/US. Belarus is a small country and I know in person some people we discuss here and I know tut.by never gives a bit wider picture only what fits their agenda. Tut.by never questioned how exactly pro-EU revolution will serve Belarus' national interests and this is worrying. Tut.by promoted NEXTA a few months ago but now it puts the blind eye when NEXTA calls for terrorism, hatred towards police forces and misinforms about 1mln of it's belarusian subscribers.

I'm not going to watch pro-Russian stuff for sure. Anything that comes out of their talking heads is nauseating for me. TUT.BY has a major Youtube presence, which is easily accessible. Do you have other channels that you can suggest? What about my question on Russian media?

All that is left is either pro-Russian or pro-EU/US. I follow both tut.by and RT just skip the comments.
I want Lukashenko to go so do many people in Belarus. But I'm not ready to pay the price pro-EU/US leaders want us all to pay for removing him.

Lukashenko criticized by virtually every Russian media from hardcore russophobic Meduza to pro-government outlets. RT mostly focused not on Lukashenko support, but on counter western propaganda in Belarus (which is quite close thing ofcouse, but there is the difference).

Major TV news channels like Russia24 and Russia1 mostly support Lukashenko in the same way as RT (mostly to counter western propaganda), but political shows (like Soloviev) experts are heavily criticized Lukashenko.

US doesn't care. Haven't seen a single news segment about Belarus. Navalny poisoning got a lot of media attention. If I wanted to get an English language account of what's going in Belarus I would have to turn to British newspapers or even Al-Jazeera. In US, we are pre-occupied with our own issues, I was actually surprised that Navalny's situation got a decent amount of coverage in recent weeks.

I bet even official EU does not care much otherwise the protest would have received decent coordinators, instructors and fundings. It's Poland and Lithuania all along but calling this side pro-Polish/Lithuanian kinda weird. Anti-Russian probably fits better.

I'm vehemently anti-Kremlin and anti-everyone who support Russian imperialistic policies towards its neighbors. If this makes me a russophobe, so be it, I don't care. However, I have yet to see any proof that protests in Belarus are anti-Russian. I could be wrong, but in Ukraine, it was obvious from the get go, that Yanukovich was perceived as a Russian puppet, I don't see the same attitudes in Belarus towards Lukashenko. So far, protests are focused exclusively of Bat'ka, but if this will drag on AND Surkov will get free reign on managing the issue on the Russian side, yes, everything will explode.

When fighting you have to keep cool head, hate emotions make you loser, that's why having the crazy antirussosemitic granny as the opposition's icon is contra productive and they started to lose popularity and why Ukraine became a failed state.

All the attempts on anti-Russian revolutions in Belarus were failed in no time. As I think this time Poland and Co is trying to trick anti-Lukashenko and pro-Russian part of people into their anti-Russian revolution and puts anti-Lukashenko narrative first.

New plans for today's protests from NEXTA:

‼ ️MARСH OF HEROES! LET'S GO TO DROZDY! *luxury district in Minsk where many officials, sportsmen, businessmen live.

Since the invaders like to invade our houses with searches and our yards, today we go home to them - STRAIGHT INTO DROSDY!

❗️MINSK, MAIN COLUMN:

- 14.00. WE ARE GATHERING IN THE AREA OF THE AVENUE OF INDEPENDENCE, NEMIGA.

- 15.00. WE MOVE THROUGH ROMANOVSKAYA Sloboda AND METRO FRUNZENSKAYA ON TIMIRYAZEV
[Instructions how to get there]

We take the invaders in the ring, we approach their houses, we call to account. And your posters will look great on tall fences.

OTHER CITIES:

- If you know where the heads of your occupation administrations and the heads of the punishers live, after the general gathering you can go straight to them. Or proceed according to your local plan.

Somebody here was saying they are not like antifa but here they are same instructions, same tactics again.

Do they plan any specials for this Monday when Lukashenko meets Putin?
Their main street maneuvers take place on Sundays. It's relatively quiet on working days with a warm up 3 hour march on Saturdays. Latest nexta tactics updates: bash Russian propaganda (they've send instructions how to block Soloviev and his lads on youtube and twitter), deadline to police forces (threats to revel all their names, addresses, places of work on sept 14), deadline to Lukashenko (threats to fail tax payments online services) and people of Belarus self-defence units move to closed chats where they discuss ambushing omon, poisoning, arsons and other revenge staff along with protecting the peaceful protesters.

Big column of protesters was blocked and dispersed by unknown forces:

Some random people were (brutally?) detained.

More detains from today. City center, two women at 1.11 discuss someone (the girl on the background) was hit against the wall.
