As it turned out, the building with columns is the Church of St. Alexander in Warsaw.During the war in 1944 it was partially destroyed. Then it was rebuilt in 1949-1952 in the style of classicism - its appearance was restored before reconstruction in the 19th century. In 1951, the left tower that survived the war was demolished.
This is how he looked before and this is how he looks now.

The building is very characteristic. Maybe someone knows where it is, but at the same time tell me about the characters.

While you have id the location, modern pictures do not appear to have the central motif displayed in your post.

This coat of arms has been removed and, as you understand, is absent from the tower today.
But it does not look like the usual "bad symbol" associated with the iii reich?

The photo has been solved #27. This is St. Peter's Cathedral in Caen

Tell me what city and cathedral are in the photo?
On the back of the photo there is an inscription, apparently the name of the city, but I cannot read it.

Friends, I am glad to welcome everyone.Let's move on.
There is an inscription on the back.I don't know if I decoded it correctly, like the city of Cambrai in France

Is it possible to find out what kind of cathedral is in the photo?

I don't think it's Cambrai. The first letter on the backside doesn't look like a C in the German Sütterlin script of that time, and none of the churches of Cambrai seem to match that building.

Please tell me about this monument.Does it exist today and where is it?
Presumably Verdun Douaumont?
