As it turned out, the building with columns is the Church of St. Alexander in Warsaw.During the war in 1944 it was partially destroyed. Then it was rebuilt in 1949-1952 in the style of classicism - its appearance was restored before reconstruction in the 19th century. In 1951, the left tower that survived the war was demolished.
This is how he looked before and this is how he looks now.
Tell me what city and cathedral are in the photo?
On the back of the photo there is an inscription, apparently the name of the city, but I cannot read it.
Friends, I am glad to welcome everyone.Let's move on.
There is an inscription on the back.I don't know if I decoded it correctly, like the city of Cambrai in France
Is it possible to find out what kind of cathedral is in the photo?
I don't think it's Cambrai. The first letter on the backside doesn't look like a C in the German Sütterlin script of that time, and none of the churches of Cambrai seem to match that building.
