Nope.Absolutely. Couldn't agree more.
Here, I couldn't disagree more, to be frank with you. If you meant to say they keep racism alive as a tool to divide and conquer, I'd agree. But the left did not "create" racism. Racism is, unfortunately, the default state of the human mind. It's only (somewhat) overcome in functioning societies.

Exactly. You pull the pendulum too far, it swings back as violently.
You don't happen to have some link on that for further reading? 7 billion seems a lot compared to expenditures of 115 billion.
I mean, not every penny to an NGO is wasted. Especially not in the social sector. For example, here in Germany the Churches are heavily involved in running hospitals and nurseries, and get a lot of government money for it which I wouldn't call wasted (despite their more leaning to the left in recent years). It's meant as an insult, but obviously not perceived as such. I mean, why are you objecting to its use here? Presumaly because it is, technically, wrong to call the Canadian Liberals Communists?
(The modern progressive left is roundly rejected by Marx-reading communists.)Can you ruin a career by calling someone a Communist? You can ruin someone's career by calling them a Nazi.
Or how about hate speech laws? Poland is one of the few countries where the use of Communist symbols is outlawed similarly to the use of the Svastika. Most jurisdictions don't care about it.
Hey Muck, few responses:
1. The Left creating racism is unclear language on my part - better say they manufactured the environment for it to occour.
Whether that was knowingly or unknowingly, it was certainly careless.
2. NGO situation in Ireland:
for last year Senator Sharon Keoghan got a figure of 6.9 billion I believe in a response from the Dept. of Finance.
I don't have a link.
However, here's an excerpt from the Journal, an insanely liberal paper in Ireland showing 6.2 billion for 2021:
"Benefacts, a former non-profit which was founded to provide transparency around Ireland’s nonprofit sector, reported in 2021 that there were more than 34,000 NGOs in Ireland at the time, employing over 160,000 people and which received €6.2 billion in State funding."

What are NGOs - and why are there so many of them?
NGOs, or non-governmental organisations, are groups that operate on a non-profit basis that are independent of the government. They often seek to address social and political issues, either on a community, national or international basis depending on their remit.According to The Wheel (Ireland’s...

I also agree they can perform useful functions - filling in gaps in healthcare, womens shelters, men's sheds, emergency accommodation etc.
We should probably not exceed 1 billion in funding even for really needed things. If people want to pay to charities out of their own pocket, who are subject to oversight by the charities regulator... OK.
We still have enormous national debt dating back to 2008, this should be paid rather than wasting money on NGO's.

"The Don's" tariffs can easily transform our finances, but not in a good way, and everything I suggest will HAVE to happen then anyway.
Between now and then we could save some pensions, healthcare etc. Keep spending, borrowing and while IMF might entertain some messing for a year - eventually they cut you off like running into a brick wall.
but that's the left for you, some people are disposable.
