Credit Suisse to review China business in strategy revamp amid executive exodus, losses

  • Credit Suisse says ‘we continue to invest in our China footprint’ and any reporting on potential outcomes before the review ‘is purely speculative’
  • An exodus of senior executives at its securities venture has delayed regulatory approval, buildout of equities trading and wealth offerings
Credit Suisse Group is reviewing the long-term plans for its business in mainland China as part of a broader strategy revamp after the lender racked up billions of dollars in losses.

thats a good thing. having a healthy industrial capacity in ones own country, or in culturally and politically similar countries makes sense on all levels.... unless you are an executive that wants to pay yourself as much as possible and your workers as little as possible.

Especially if the one you are buying from and propping up with technology and market access plans to kill you later.

Its a brutal totalitarian state which is empowered by "business". They dream all day long of killing all Americans/Westerners in revenge for the Indians.

Everything has its price and many (western enablers) won't tell you the real price for society.

Like the communist and nazis always do. Sneak in play false games accuse others and hide your evil intentions. Exploit the gullible.

Then stab them in the back. (Something they also often accuse others of doing while they are the real masters at it)

Dismantle from within, thats another one of their favourite modus operandis but then when ruling thmeselves thats where their paranoia stems from.

Uyghurs: China may have committed crimes against humanity in Xinjiang - UN

Note the watery may. UN hopeful taxcindy booted MP Louisa Wall for calling it what it is crimes against humanity

"For the last two years, Wall has been a co-chair of the Inter-Parliamentary Alliance on China (IPAC), a group made up of politicians from around the world who monitor the actions of the Asian superpower.

They frequently criticise events in China, including the ongoing oppression of the Uighur people in Xinjiang and the crackdown on democracy in Hong Kong. However, some of Wall's comments have gone further than the Government line and led Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern to distance herself from her own MP."

Its a pity Wall doesn't come back we need more of her and fewer taxcindies.

Bachelet immediately ran away after delivering the report...guess why.

Before she always watred it down and received some flak for it.

New rules for German companies doing business in China. Investions may not be secured anymore by state guarantees.

Secret services may advise companies before committing to Chinese partners.
