Atlanta Police Department denies reports of massive officer walkout

Sgt. John Chaffee with APD’s public affairs unit denied the walkouts in a statement, but said there had been a higher than usual number of call outs.

“Earlier suggestions that multiple officers from each zone had walked off the job were inaccurate. However, department is experiencing a higher than usual number of call outs with the incoming shift. We have enough resources to maintain operations and remain able to respond to incidents throughout the city,” Chaffee said.

A drive around Zone 6 indicated there was not the usual APD presence. A Georgia State Patrol unit was handling a two-car accident at Boulevard and Edgewood Avenue around 9 p.m. The APD’s precinct at Wellstar Atlanta Medical Center appeared empty. Down in Grant Park, the Zone 3 precinct was populated by Fulton County Sheriff units.

Vince Champion, southeast regional director of the International Brotherhood of Police officers, told Decaturish that police officers had stopped answering calls midshift, in response to charges against former Officer Garrett Rolfe, who is charged with the felony murder of Rayshard Brooks.

“The union, we would never advocate this. We wouldn’t advocate a blue flu,” Champion said. “We don’t know the numbers. Apparently we’re learning that command staff are asking outlying counties for support and aren’t getting it.”

F*** the mayor of Atlanta and that criminal Democrat PA.....

The only problem I see with whole police departments walking off the job is that the management of these Democrat cities will not get the signal. They haven't for decades... Why should they now.

The second problem is that it opens the doors for State police departments to be called in to fill the gaps, and I bet they don't have the manpower.

Hence, my idea of Gendermie along with the concept of Le quartier de reconquête républicaine, QRR I'll let our French contributors to explain it in more detail, but let me put this way, the left wing wouldn't like it at all.

Isn't this what the State Police/State Trooper corps are already doing? A gendarmerie force on the federal level would be something like the National Guard acting as MP with civilian policing rights though.

NO, I don't think a single "State Police" equipped to take on a role of "Regional Police" and what it entails nowadays.

Alaska might then be the exception owing to the sparsely populated territory and the lack of county-level administration (no sheriffs and only so few municipal police departments). I was thinking of this type of police force or something akin to the RCMP.

At the place of detention of the African-American George Floyd, who had been arrested for various crimes including possession of prohibited chemicals, in Minneapolis mounted tub where poured water and now spend preaching and “baptize” people. The so-called religious pilgrims called such service a new format of meetings. In “the Church” the place where dead a black resident of the city, converted the local priest, reports “Interactor”.

Two promising lawyers.
Since day one this two were arrested I have been wondering if they can kick her sorry us back to pakistan and bar her from ever coming back to the united states under charges of terrorism. As far as Im aware she is Pakistani borne, US raised, so no sure if she has American nationality or if she can be stripped of it on homegrown terrorism charges. That would also hurt her chances of ever been able to move into europe or Australia-NZ and any country in south east asia worth of living at. So she would be kind of stuck in the sinkhole Pakistan is, with all its liberties, women equality, talibans, etc...

Sure as hell she will have plenty of struggle to continue over there as her t-shirt says ? ? ?

Atlanta cops are walking off the job after Officer Rolfe was charged with felony murder, (punishable by death).

I don' t agree with the way that was handled but WTF.

Are there any moderate opinions, opinion leaders, attitudes left or will it be like this now until I die?

Same. Shooting someone in the back wasn’t the right call, but to charge him like that and possibly even put a needle in his vein before his last breath is going too far. Is it all to appease minorities?

I don't think moderate opinions are wanted.

Things will change when the people decide to vote this leadership ( to use the word very loosely) out, until then the citizens/general public have to live with the consequences of the leaders actions/choices.

Just my .02

French police are upset at how their own minister turned on them in the wake of the Adama Traore killing (who unlike Floyd was a real and active POS).

Protesting here are some police playing the song of a kiddie show (the bisounours in French / Care bears in English) on their loudspeakers. A bisounours world is in French popular culture a world where there are only good and nice people.

Hilarious, even people on the street are laughing.

I believe officers are allowed to shoot people any where they can regardless if the suspect is fleeing, if officers are trying to apprehend a felon or believe they are. this was a supreme court ruling from some time ago.

George Floyd likes Martin Luther King and Malcom X!and CHAZ, Raz Simone like new Obama!
