I have no more details about the incident in Wisconsin but what transpired is the black man was unarmed and shot in the back. Which is again, or seems to be a case of police brutality, if not outright attempted murder.

I have no idea what the black dude in question did before though.

Ok I'll not post the link but it is easy enough to find . I'll say one thing , it's bad . Sure he was going to get in a vehicle then they shot him in the back from less than a metre away . As you remark , don't know what happened before but with 2 officers present both with weapons drawn maybe 1 with a tazer may have been more pertinent to the situation . It's not going to go away is this unless there are some changes to police protocol .

It appears he was there to help from early reports though again nothing is set in concrete yet but the police turned up then things started to go south . Heard reports too that they tried to tazer him first which doesn't make much sense as if they shot him they could have quite easily tazered him as the actions are exactly the same . Now there could have been some malfunction with said tazer which led to both officers drawing their main weapon but surely both their tazers malfunctioning at the same time seems an unlikely scenario .

Repeatedly shot, I did' nt count them but I'd say more than three times fired...I am speechless...and unless there is a big part of information missing, this police behavior is unacceptable.

Considering the current climate and how volatile things are regarding antifa/blm/etc... it would be REALLY wise for the police to get their sh*t together.

Ok guys, patrol duty tonight, you've all seen the news, our black citizens believe too many of them are being shot by us.

So just to remind you, you have the following weapons:

Baton, to hit people with
CS/pepper spray, to blind them, and make them roll around on the floor
A Tazer, to shoot people with, mostly they dont die
As a last resort, a gun, which can and often will kill people

They could have shot his tyres/tires....

Guy on his own drive? Identity known? Believed to be unarmed? Really after months of this, it doesnt look good.

What I dont understand, when you have these type of shootings, is why when you have mass riots etc, then why dont all those people get shot? They must be disobeying a Police Officer?

I have a lot of sympathy for any Police officer, I would not want the job, but as with teachers/scout leaders(sometimes/rarely) being pedophiles, is there a group of homicidal/racial nutters, signing up as Police?(again only small %)

Situation colud be resolved just with one punch in the back of this guy when he was going to the car.
It is easy to change protocols, is much more difficult to change the mentality.

Whatever the circumstances, I cannot fathom how police officers for whom I also have sympathy (most are doing a stressful job and as Ivan pointed out being a cop these days isn’t quite a walk in the park) don’t they know most everybody these days will make a video of any troubling arrest and particularly that of a black man?

George Floyd and what followed was bad enough, it’s not like the lesson wasn’t learnt. I just saw the video which was edited (the shooting in the back) and yeah I can’t see a reason for this.

Hope he survives, because the situation is bad enough as it is.

I don't know fluff . There's certainly a % who are completely out of their depth . Some officers seem scared even though their the ones holding the gun with the authority to do so . There's just no answer to that behaviour apart from fear of one's life . I counted the shots , 7 from that range is off the scale . I'd expect that from let's say a woman who's facing an attempted rape situation who manages to get hold of a gun but not a domestic from a trained professional .

Increase funding to police forces to recruit better applicants with higher pay and better training. Unfortunately what Democrats want is the exact opposite of that and seem OK with burning down another city.

Frankly, if I was coming out of college, in US, and wanted to be in uniform, I'd head for the military, US is slowly coming out of Afghan etc.

Would anyone recommend Policing to their son/daughter, just taking this case, maybe you dont end up as the officer that fired, but you could still end up as the other officer - how do you now feel?

The election is certainly playing a part, and many players are judging crime/behaviour/protests purely as to does this play to my election 'hope'. Rather than is this good behavior for my city/state. How do politicians expect to ferment protest one day, they hope to then win, and then there will be peace on the streets? How do they become so blinkered?
