The Japanese! I like Gasparino, but you should also know that he is pretty anti-Trump.
And not the Chinese . Its interesting the fleet footed reponse to quell short term volatillty and not the dogmatic appoach. Who knows what some Jap AI bot trade algorithm had planned but writing an algorithm that will be somewhat reliable based on Trumps unreliability is questionable.

Damn, didnt expect the US that fast. Things is by pausing the tariff everywhere else and focusing on China, you just opened up the alleged Chinese circumvention of their product channels. So basically the Chinese goods will flow into the Us, care of Evil Vietnam, Mexico, etc. While the US farmers continue to get screwed.
This actions would definitely strengthen resolve for the Chinese as they would see themselves be the goods guys, and because of them the smaller nations just got a reprieve. Not only that it showed China between the two who can endure more pain... this does not bode well for Taiwan.
