At this point, I fully expect a "real" video where Biden announces he's ordered a hit on Trump and declares martial law. Or a "genuine" audio recording of Trump personally agreeing to pay a million bucks for a staged attempt on his life.
It's utter madness. And what scares me the most is how our societies are just rolling with it. The same mistake that was made after the invention of the internet and social media is made once more. We're just passive observers, allowing big tech to shape our future without any democratic mandate whatsoever. Frankly, I'm not one to swiftly call for the government to step in, but we have to put AI developers on a leash.

I agree with you on some oversight on AI. Problem is Russia and especially China are racing to develop it for military applications. My country will never stand for being second to any nation. Private sector will most likely be left to their own oversight.

Is it possible the feds were involved in the plot, but it backfired so they had no other choice but to go and "save" Trump?
Bc it sounds strange how the guy could climb into the roof armed, and also the statements of ppl that warned security but were ignored?

They have been calling Trump Hitler-Satan for about a decade, accusing him of heinous crimes, attributing despicable things to him, blaming him for everything under the sun, claiming he would do the most unspeakable things possible, fantasized about him betting killed, etc...

Their cognitive dissonance is believing themselves to be the resistance with Trump being Emperor Palpatine. For anyone doubting that, I challenge you to go into their groups and boards and seeing it firsthand yourself.
Which I find as both funny and ironic with their Palpatine memes. Yet they're the ones in power trying to stay in power with a tyrannical fist, using the federal government's ABC's to be their stormtroopers.
