That "interview" was a train wreck. Even with CNN's best attempts to make her look good. Let's see her do a LIVE interview next, alone, without her emotional support VP.

There is no combat action badge, there is a CIB "combat Infantryman badge" only to be issued to an mos of Infantryman, and most certainly no paper pushers. It was once 25 combat missions before you were eligible but they started fudging the number during the Korean War. I'm not familiar with this Wes Moore so I don't know if he was military or held a civilian title with the 82nd. They do not hand out Bronze Stars or Army Commendation Medals to civilians. If he can't explain the proper name of the award presented then most likely he didn't receive it, it says in large type the name of the medal on the certificate. Next time one of these guys start bragging about awards received tell them to present the certificate. It will show which General signed the award and that is done by the adjutant, the General doesn't have time to sign awards and delegates the authority. Same at company level, usually the 1sgt will sign anything if the CO is not around or able to sign it, even the morning reports which are the most important company level document each morning and sent on to Bn where they send it to Division or Brigade Hdqs
We had one pilot that went on to become a Senator, I doubt he lied about anything or even mentioned his service. Also had one Pilot that became an honest to goodness Astronaut. I had one pilot that left the service and became a Doctor in California, unfortunately he died in his mid 50s from a heart attack.
"Keep in mind, the news media are not independent; they are a sort of bulletin board and public relations firm for the ruling class-the people who run things.
Those who decide what news you will or will not hear are paid by, and tolerated purely at the whim of, those who hold economic power. If the parent corporation doesn't want you to know something, it won't be on the news.
Period. Or, at the very least, it will be slanted to suit them, and then rarely followed up."
Didn't Tulsi basically got her removed right after the very first debate?
And later Kamala cackled her way out when asked "why she called Biden a racist" by saying "it was a debate!", iow: "I said absolute BS because that's what we do during a debate, so I just threw sh1t at everybody like a monkey at the zoo!"
The Army made a lot of different changes over the past 54 years. One badge is an enlisted mans wings that give the Star for a certain number of combat flight hours. The only problem is it caters to E-6 and above, now ain't that an insult. All the old Vietnam Crews had so many air medals they couldn't wear them so they resorted to numbers instead of clusters. I knew when I left the service I did the right thing, they were already doing things that just went against everything that we older guys were trained or taught. One of my pet peeves was allowing the women to sleep in the same barracks. These same politicians that are still hanging on were responsible for that BS and of course it bought them a lot of votes. That is why our government is so corrupt today.
I got a very pleasant surprise today for my birthday, an email from my long lost best friend in the 121st. I started searching for him over 20 years ago but had no luck. I was close but no cigar. Now we have a lot of catching up to do.

Imagine her talking to Putinski about war in Ukraine, and all he has to do is ask about cooking greens... She is President (for life of the San Fran book club for girl scouts).
