Does this mean their claim is true? "Ah but we must wait for the conclusion of the investigation".
So, she should believe only if it is made clear and true that they can, indeed, be believed.
CBF on the other was to be believed, no questions asked. She said it happened, she testified, therefore it was true. No need for an investigation.
