Politics All Things Trump

Not really surprising.

Americans, and foreigners, have been through 4 years of political circus when Trump was POTUS. 4 years of constant attacks that were more related to Trump's character rather than his policies.

Some things got done in that time period, but most of these 4 years got wasted chasing fantasm down rabbit holes. And then Biden became POTUS and immediately went through rescinding each and every things that had been done by the Trump administration; effectively putting on paper that these four years did not happen.

Two years into the Biden admin/stewardship, not much is being done and not much is likely to be done. At least so far nothing has been done, will things be done in the years to come? Who knows.

Anyway. 2024.

What does the political landscape look like?
Reps have the House.
Dems get the Senate by a hair thin majority.

Basically a reverse of 2016-2020. Nothing will be done during 2022-2024.

Still lots of RINOS and DINOS. Pelosi is gone though, so are the Cheneys, McCains and Kinzingers so there is that at least. Mitch McConnel is probably next on the block, but he seems to have lots of support and most of those who pushed the hoaxxes against Trump are still there as well (though them getting ousted won't stop them from becoming recurrent guests on TV shows to propagate different falsehoods).

So, a Trump 2024 ticket (whoever he picks as a running mate) still faces the possibility (or rather likeliness) of getting pelted with the same kind of BS we have had in 2016-2020. And I think the American people are not only tired of this, but are also likely to become exarcerberated their real life concerns, problems and issues are not being addressed, especially when we take into account what has happened for the past 6-8 years (Trump & TDS, the 2020 BLM riots, covid, Biden, Ukraine, inflation, gas crisis, etc...).

Rupert Murdoch and his lefty son have made no secret about being anti-Trump. Fox will not be a Trump ally

Fox has flipped alright. Host crucifix wearer Laura Ingraham had on her show a republican etreme right who equated the Ukraine war to a fight between the crips and the bloods. Didn't want to spend anther dime on it. Zelensky was some type of corrupt devil.

Are the nut cases waging the dog again?

Don't hear so much about Trump. You remember that one with the great economy....If that hunter biden laptop story was properly covered by the mainstream news would make made Trump president.

DeSantis, Pence or any other Republican candidate would get that same treatment now because the swamp has seen that it works.

During the Trump presidency Fox News was fairly pro-Trump, or at least aligned with Trump.

Of course, considering the other news channels behavior, anybody would have been "pro-Trump" if they didn't follow their narrative. Which, funnily enough was the case both in the news world but also in the public arena: anybody not embracing the anti-Trump narrative was henceforth labeled a Trumper.

Fox's behavior changed when presidential debates started, or about that time. Perhaps a bit before that. They were still relatively sympathetic to Trump, but they progressively distanced themselves from him. Especially after that debate hosted by one of their news anchor, that got criticized and had him move to CNN.

Can we count on your vote, Joe?

Its a bit weird at Fox. They are currently trotting out some strange folks.
Its been posted one Republican party guest proclaiming that Ukraine is run by a devil and continuously they have on some ex rank who's predictions on the war have all back fired but still is convinced complete Russian victory is happening while Laura makes sure her crucifix is obvious and Tucker nods while clicking his pen its like some new virtue club defined by the purest stupidity.
And Fox call's CNN fake news.

The left is literally melting down. It is glorious!
