Caveat, I do not trust the media, it is way too biased for my liking, but I am staggered at this image of Blinken meeting Xi, where in China, respect is everything. There must have been thousands of images of the two meeting, yet this is the lead image which shows - to me- a very indifferent Xi shaking someone's hand who looks for all the world to be groveling. Maybe I am wrong on it, I try not to read too much into a single image, but surely the media could have done better representing the meeting of US and China in person...
