What I find very dangerous, in addition to the illegality of conserving documents, is that the docs were not even in some safe apparently.

Trump did not return documents willingly, but in his effort to conceal documents from the NA and the American people, at least they were in a safe.

No doubt that in this case, an investigation is needed to determine the quality of the documents and how they ended up there.

One thing is that often we hear the whiny Trumpistas about how the media does'nt report things that are detrimental to the dems,, in this case the media is largely reporting on it and late night shows are having a blast.

Hunter Biden listed his home address as President Biden's Wilmington, Delaware, residence, where classified documents were discovered, documents show.

Jean-Pierre is repeatedly insisting that the documents were "inadvertently misplaced."

Yet, they were not just inadvertently but repeatedly misplaced. These documents had to have been moved, distributed and divided to end up at different locations.
Jean-Pierre is refusing to even address the President's Corvette statement in the prior conference. Why? That was a statement made publicly by the President in a press conference and the CBS reporter merely asked for clarification.
The "inadvertent" defense has its dangers. If Biden worked off any of these documents for his book (which dealt with some of the underlying subjects), the inadvertent defense is not only shattered but could be viewed as an effort to deceive the public.

At the same time, the Justice Department clearly does not agree with various "experts" insisting, as by Laurence Tribe, that "One is criminal (Trump). And one is not criminal (Biden)."
There may or may not be a crime, but the final conclusion requires actual evidence. While belated, it is clear is that "that criminal investigation of a person or matter is warranted" and the appointment is in the public interest.

Anyway, we may soon see an interesting and very extraordinary historical development where both leading candidates for the presidency, though Biden's run for reelection is hopefully unlikely, will be campaigning with their own assigned special counsels.


Meanwhile, Dems and Leftards are going for the easy way, as it is customary with them. According to Rep. Hank Johnson, and others, the classified Biden documents were planted: "Alleged classified documents showing up allegedly in the possession of Joseph Biden…...things can be planted in places and then discovered conveniently. That may be what has occurred here."
Incidentally, Johnson has fought to stop Republican "conspiracy theories" from being spread through social media.

Talking heads from the View have been "discussing", if one can call that "discussing", the scenario from day one. And other well known morons are shifting the subject of conversation to Trump. Because what else can they do...
