Unlikely, they have their own tank industry. I simply don’t see the rationale for them or Germany. I’m guessing - one of the countries, which donated their tanks to Ukraine wanting a quick solution for their armor. Netherlands, Finland, Czechs…
I meant paying for them, France hasnt sent any MBT, and UK seems willing to do a lot in this war.

If Germany is suffering huge losses in image after a few destroyed Leos, I would like to hear Sprinter's opinion on the current image of Russian equipment.

FFS why not just surrender to the drones.......they could have saved themselves 😡
They are more afraid of their own commanders. moscovits have sayin: “ beat your own people, to scare enemies”. This orcs simply have no idea of what life is worth. They are OK to be a cannon fodder. They are programmed since kindergarten

"Treat your enemies like you'd want to be treated yourself"

The russian concept is shooting surrendering soldiers, executing them in front of a camera or torturing them to death.

The russians are expecting to be treated the same way either by the Ukrainians or by their own side when they get exchanged.

Also, and this is in line with what shonima said russians simply don't value life the same way. Suffering, depression and depravity is part of the national identity. "Such is life" should be made the national motto.

IDK, what Merkava can do in Ukraine. Have those tanks ever fought anything than bunch of dudes with ak47 and flip-flops?
Yes, Hezzies have got the latest RuZZian ATGMs, plus some Western ones, but are much better trained and motivated than the Orcs.

Have you checked when the British and the French tanks stopped being produced? I don’t believe the Netherlands, Czechia or Finland want to acquire Israeli tanks for themselves. The Baltic countries cannot afford any tanks.

Merkavas are specifically designed for Israeli needs. Probably not the optimum tank for the Ukrainian plains
It’s still a good tank and the Israelis produce a good quality APDSFS shells. The Merkava is designed to protect its crew before all.
The MK3 model is better than most T-72s and T-80s, while the MK2 is better than basic T-72s and all T-62s. These tanks have a better fire control system and observation devices than most RuZZian tanks.
They are better armoured, or at last the MK3 is, than the Leopard 2A4. The latter had its side armour reduced, compared to its original austere Version.

You don’t need to go far. Just read russian folk tales. Tzar is always wise-and-strong with strong men beside him, and all the peasants praise him. Most fooked-up russian thing is “нас ебут, а мы крепчаем» - which means “we’re getting screwed, but that makes us stronger”, the explanation is “government is f$$king us, but that makes nation stronger”.

P.S. I still wonder, where’re all those ruZZian users from MP.net? Haven’t seen a lot of those old nicknames. Would be great to hear their perspective over this madness

When did i claim so? And i do not write anything about EVER just about NOW and this war. And yes in this war Russia's war efforts are quite disciplined and they provoked no major civilian losses or now. Or show me otherwise.
Hey, tovarish? How you doin?
How’s your yobanaya army is doing in Ukraine? Did you guys took Kiyv?

Imo the idea of the one trick pony Merkava is based on prejudice. Repeat the same thing often enough and it becomes the mainstream "truth".

It has the image of being a defensive tank mainly made for (sub)urban fighting, but in reality it also has to be able to go into Lebanon or Jordan which already throws out the notion of a purely defensive design doctrine.
A lot of these "experts" don't understand tanks don't just sit hull down waiting for the bad guys in defense,. Whether part of the guard, screen, on the MDP, or a reserve they will be constantly maneuvering if they are adequately trained, led and/or have any semblance of self-preservation. The Merk's design is largely based on preserving the one thing they can't quickly replace which is the crew, not the phase of war they are in, the same reason the Namer was developed for the infantry. The IDF has consistently shown its strengths lie in pre-empting and out-maneuvering its much larger enemies, not sitting and waiting for them. Much similar to Israel with the length of time this war has gone on, the survivability of trained crews is probably more important to Ukraine than the wagons.
