If you want to realize how absolutely ridiculous it is for Letitia James' recent suit against Trump is... you only have to stop and think about it for a moment. She is suing Trump for fraud, for overestimating the value of his NYC apartments.

Firstly, she claims the apartments are only worth $62k, which is ridiculous in NYC. I would buy all 12 of his apartments right now, for that price. Hell, I would pay double those estimates.

Secondly, she is suing him for overestimating. When someone commits fraud on the value of their property, they don't overestimate; they underestimate.
Why? To pay less in taxes. You want everyone to think the value of your property is less, so that you pay less property tax.

But nobody ever commits fraud in the other direction.
Why? Because that would be stupid.


We might as well go after every company ever since they almost always sell every product for more than it cost them to make.
