You cannot fool all the people all the time - looks like the game is up
I wonder if they frisked them for guns prior to the interview................
Pay attention at the description on the screen: "Pittsburgh-era Trump voters on January 6". And it's on MSNBC...
The underlying message being: "This panel made up of Trump voters, and thus representative of Trump voters in general, don't believe in our narrative regarding January 6. To them it wasn't a violent, undemocratic, fascistic insurrection as we have been telling you since day 1; and they are pushing conspiracy theories that have been thoroughly debunked by our fact checkers".
And again, it's on MSNBC. Implying, aimed at a MSNBC audience.
Who is the MSNBC audience? Well, not Republicans and not Trump voters or Trump supporters.
MSNBC is the channel of Rachel Maddow, Keith Olberman, Brian Williams, Joy Reid, the Scaboroughs, etc... If anything they hate Republicans and loathe anything related to Trump. People with these views are the ones watching MSNBC.
And that interview was not made to "share a different perspective" but merely an opportunity for "the deplorable Trump voters" to publicly confess to their "crime": Jan6 was not an insurrection, it wasn't violent and nobody but Ashley Babbit got killed.
In other words, from MSNBC pov: look, this is what the enemy looks like.
