I have to give you props for using AKs. I keep one to test various tuning options for 1:1, but for BB wars these AEGs are horrid. At least the ones for sale in the states are wired to the dust cover instead of to the stock and/or buffer tube. The battery space is extremely limited and one cannot swap battery easily because it's a b***ch to put the dust cover back on even on the real AK. The selection compared to M4s where you can get a good one externally with no mods is paltry. Also, in order to disassemble one orange tip has to be removed, which is next to impossible with one for sale in the US. I'm actually keeping mu old E&L Gen 1 because the other ones are even worse. That being said, I think the only real option is LCT. I also tried out G&G which had a built in mosfet and surprisingly good wiring, but externals were meh, and how the orange tip was installed, disassembly wasn't possible (they don't break down as real AKs). Any new AKs in the pipeline?

I use an 1Gen E&L AK74M and I solved the battery problem getting new batteries from HobbyKing , and playing Milsim games is not usual to get in a hurry to change batteries as you don´t deplete it quickly.

I'm using NiMh not Lipos. Anyway waiting for someone new to enter the game and make a new tactical AK, AK-74M3 would have been great as an entry point for me .

I have a CYMA AK-74, Honestly I heard very good reviews from it. it can fire at 400 FPS with good range. I usually use .25 bbs. I have a 9,6X1600 amp stick battery who goes in the dust cover. With that battery the replica fires very well and runs allmost in a full day game. I also have a a lipo battery 11.1VX1100mAh but never play with the AK. I usually run the lipo battery on a different AEGs. Any way I heard the the E&L AKs are the best in the Airsoft Market, but also I think that Cyma AKs are as good as well.

Thanks ! I have a CPC + molle belt for my original kit but in airsoft games I realized that having a heavy kit just slows me down against other since most of them dont even use equipment carriers or helmets et all. So I bought myself a Haley Strategic D3 with Flatpack combo for gameplays. It is super comfy and works great in most of the game situations. I even normally not use my safariland holster in games and stick my pistol instide the interior velcro panel of the chest rig.

Here is my AK-105 AEG by LCT. I don't play any more due to complications from diabetes that affected my exterminates, so it's a test mule for AK add-ons.
