On departure from Walvis Bay, Namibia, INS Tushil undertook a Maritime Partnership Exercise (MPX) with Namibian Naval Ship Brukkaros. The exercise included communication drills, and tactical & replenishment at sea manoeuvres, concluding with a traditional steam past. The visit and MPX reinforce the close friendship between the two navies and the Indian Navy’s role as a ‘Preferred Partner’.
LAPEROUS E25
Strengthening maritime bonds across the Indo-Pacific. Enhancing interoperability, building trust and honing our skills together to ensure maritime security. Indigenous Destroyer INS Mumbai & long range maritime surveillance P8I aircraft participated in the sea phase of LAPEROUSE 17 – 20 Jan 25 with French, Royal Navy & Royal Canadian Navy.
On departure from Lagos, Nigeria, INS Tushil & Nigerian Navy Ships Sokoto & DB Abuja conducted a Maritime Partnership Exercise that included tactical manoeuvres, maritime interdiction & VBSS operations. The exercise also saw the first-ever deployment of Indian Navy’s latest Maritime Information Terminal for Reciprocal Association MITRA with the Nigerian Navy. The two Navies followed this with a joint patrol in the Gulf of Guinea, reaffirming shared commitment to regional maritime security.

Somewhere in the Swedish archipelago.The time is sometime in the late 1960s to mid-1970s. The frigate F12 HMS Sundsvall is at sea conducting sharp, true submarine hunting together with Hkp4 Y61.
USN

INS Tushil was greeted by the South African Navy Ship SAS Amatola on her maiden entry into the Indian Ocean Region. The two ships exchanged pleasantries and engaged in tactical manoeuvres followed by a traditional steam past. The exercise reinforces the deep trust and bonds of friendship between the two navies and the IOR nations.
