Here's a rare close up photo of the Imperial Japanese battleship Nagato when she had her swept back fore funnel. Taken at Yokohama in August 1930.

Since she was commissioned, Nagato had problems with smoke from the fore funnel going onto the bridge when she's sailing at high speed. In 1922 a smoke deflector was fitted to keep the bridge clear of smoke. In 1924-1925 her fore funnel was swept back. She kept this funky looking funnel until it was removed during her first modernization in 1934-1936.

Photos of Nagato when she had her swept back funnel are rare, and usually taken at a distance so this photo is genuinely a hidden gem.

God know where they are getting the parts for the 4.5" guns, very few of them lying around for spare parts these days. Same with the sensor fit on these hulls. The radars and sonar are very old units with a very small pool of spares lying around anywhere in the world ;)

I served in a Leander class in the 1980's and they were wonderful ships to serve in but they are very much obsolete now
