Departing Japanese Contingent Hands Over Heavy Equipment to UNMISS
The Japanese contingent of the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) handed over heavy equipment to UNMISS ahead of the 25 May departure of the last remaining Japanese troops in the country. The 350-strong contingent mainly supported the Mission’s infrastructure projects during its five-year deployment with UNMISS. The machinery handed over included earthmovers, tractors, generators and vehicles.

MINUSMA Peacekeepers Patrol Streets of Gao
Peacekeepers of the Senegalese contingent the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA) conduct nightly street patrols in the town of Gao.
