Name monitor of the class, HMS Roberts being pulled into Admiralty Floating Dock 4 in Gareloch on 13 Oct 1941, one week after her commissioning.
Roberts as she leaves Clydebank for her sea trials on 09 Oct 1941. Her secondary armament as designed consisted of eight 4” guns in four twin mounts, sixteen 2-pounder “pom-pom” and fourteen 20mm anti-aircraft guns.
