Interesting detail, in one of the videos we can see this:

The guy on the right is seemingly dressed/geared as an IDF soldier (mitznefet, dark OD green).

for a sec i thought he's an israeli soldier because of what looks like a mitzneft

Which is a war crime....Not that anyone cares, or is keeping score. HAMAS are terrorists so rules dont count yadayada....

Aside from that it shows how far the preparation went, and how invested Hamas was to get "close enough" in term of details. Especially the MP arm band, it's a very vicious move that one.

Assuredly the plan was to confuse civilians as much as possible in order to increase the body count

That split second of indecision is what they're going for.

This is why every Hamas militant should be shot on sight because they're always committing at least one war crime at any one time be it being out of uniform, wearing enemy uniforms, using civilians as human shields etc.

No getting them out in a 3000-to-1 hostage exchange then.

youre correct , that split second makes a life or death decision

as for the hostages.... guess hamas is letting go of 50 hostages ...atleast the ones with dual citizenship

They (hamas) have been sporting similar uniforms as the IDF for well over a decade now, but with green headbands and Arabic signed flashes, while the color and cut may be similar it could, and I stress the could be considered a ruse de guerre.

Perhaps they should stop reporting on the atrocities committed by Hamas.
It is counter productive.

In the sense that: they can't show evidence of these claims. And the evidence exist, Hamas even recorded themselves perpetrating these acts. But these photos and videos cannot be shown to the public. And even when they are, .ie the charred remains of babies, their authenticity is debated nonetheless.

Meanwhile Hamas does the same by showing actual mutilated bodies of children killed during the retaliatory strikes, along with having a bunch of people putting on a show for propaganda purposes. Yet, not being questioned unlike the evidence provided by Israel.

The only outcome is an escalade in gore-porn, be it claims or evidence (fabricated or not), where one side will try to outdo the other in term of shock, which will lead to removing any meaning to the crimes committed.

No, I don't think so. This goes beyond who's responsible for what. This spreads beyond the ME, this is a war between jihadism and western values, as shown by what took place in Arras 10 days ago. Western audiences need to know what they're facing, whether they like it or not. Dominique Bernard had nothing to do with the Middle East, yet he was mercilessly murdered when he tried to stop the criminal. We need to know and to steel ourselves.

Some of this footage of the Hamas attack shown to journalists is actually public, you can find photos and videos on the South First Responders telegram channel. It's obviously grim stuff, so mind how you go. There's various other things floating about on twitter, the amount of visual evidence out there in the public domain I've seen is more than enough to prove beyond doubt that Hamas murdered innocents in a depraved manner with no regard for innocent human life, terrorists be terrorists. It's only those that cry "fake", "AI", "staged" that will never accept it, because they're either dumb, ignorant or just hate jews, so F*** these people.

Look, I'm not into habit of inane kind of patriotic chest beating. However, it's need to be understood, that maybe apart from Americans (and Brits to a lesser extent) with their Iraq experience, I struggle to think of other Western military (I'm obviously not talking Russians and Ukrainians now) with as much experience in urban warfare and better prepared for it, than IDF.
IDF had plenty of urban fighting during the Defensive Shield in West Bank (2002), Second Lebanon War (2006), Cast Lead operation in Gaza (2008), not to mention more or less continuous anti-terror operations in the West Bank for the last 20 years. This, including the subterranean/tunnel warfare, which again, is not new to us (there are special engineering units for dealing with it, technology, tactics etc.). IDF has been preparing for this contingency at least since Hamas coming to power in 2007.
There is a reason we (in partnership with US) built a whole frigging city in Negev solely for the purpose of urban warfare training, where we are constantly hosting our Western friends:
Now, all of this is not to say that taking Gaza or part of it, is going to be "easy" by any stretch of the word. Gaza city is not Ramadi or Fallujah, it's several times both of them combined, where the enemy has been also preparing for this contingency for the last 15 years or so. It's going to be a very long, very bloody affair with most probably hundreds of killed IDF soldiers. But there simply no other military in the world right now better prepared for dealing with it, than IDF.
The only very, and I mean very, optimistic possibility that we will not have to actually conquer and clear the whole of Gaza is the Beirut 1982 scenario. That is, when as a result of partial ground invasion, and them running out of supplies and options, we reach the deal, where the remaining Hamas leadership is spared in return for hostages and expulsed to, say, Qatar. This, of course, is going to be only the end of the most active/intensive phase of the war.
I had no idea about Mini Gaza, 500 buildings... wow! The artists have done a great job here, with the graffiti and propaganda posters, really makes the place feel authetic! This was really interesting, thanks for sharing! 👍

guess america is happy with hamas

Guys, always use twitter.com not x, that way links embed properly, just makes it easier for people to see the content. Cheers!

Two more hostages released:

Hamas claim they wanted to release them on Saturday but Israel ignored the offer, so they decided to release them on "humanitarian grounds". Cue a video of them being fed and sitting comfortably, even saying bye to their captors. Such crass propaganda, and so many actually fall for it...

So basically Iran was getting what it wanted, loads of money and zero obstructions to working on their nuclear bomb and decided to throw it all out the window just for lulz. Almost like they're religious zealots that could never be trusted or even reasoned with and only a class of complete morons would even bother. Who knew  (me and everyone else who's not a utopian dipsh*t)
