Sniper, squad commander of the 1196th Infantry Regiment of the 359th Infantry Division of the 30th Army of the Kalinin Front - Junior Sergeant Kuzma Kukentievich Zakharov (1912 - 09/15/1942).

Kuzma Zakharov led the sniper group of his company and in one month of fighting from March 15 to April 14, 1942, he personally destroyed 27 Germans and two horses, trained 8 snipers. At the time of his death, he had more than 100 killed enemies.

That's an interesting picture.......combat troops helping collect crop at the front before it's destroyed, the eastern front was such a mess.....only in WWII
